1. Thanks guys, 60" bar is a little on the big side BB. I will defo keep u updated it may be kinked if I get power to my yard sorted DT. Del get it on there, winch power!
2. Turn off Hd press play then pause and wait till its loads is my advice sorry dude I don't upload to Youtube.

4. No thats a Monkey Puzzle in the video. cheers.
5. Winch milling as promised.
6. Super device I wouldn't mill without it now.
7. I was ordering some longer rails for the mill from Rob (Rob D on here) and asked whether I should have anything else? He recommended a winch, which I had seen pics of on other threads. Rob sells a complete kit it all comes in a box and works straight out the box. After you mill with it you will never mill without it again! It is Magic I will get a video up later.
8. Ah yes too much they were a 4 man lift though a 2'6" side gate when milled at 1"5/8. I cut the centre at 4"1/4 and slid it off, wow that was a slab then ripped free hand into 3 pieces (for the table legs).
9. I milled this Beech today it looked better than the shed it landed on. I haven't sold any wood ye but been stockpiling for a couple of years now and am about to start making garden benches tables. Best grain Ive milled so far I hope u like it.
10. Sounds like a right mission but defo worth the effort looks so cool. As regards the double end mill I can safely say after trading up from a 066 to an 088 it is amassing the difference. I would imagine two 088 would be the same felling! Rob suggested a winch system would be a good idea when ordering 66" rails. Its difficult to convey just how brilliant milling is now it just makes every thing better, I wouldn't mill without the which now ever! Sorry to go on about the beams but how did you get the first cut on them?
11. OMG how long are those beams holding the roof over your mill, are they one length?
12. Yes I would love it please PM sent
13. Milled a bit of Red Oak this week pretty tough but nice grain.
14. Sweet cut and camera, tidy dismantle! Good work all round.
15. Wordpress works for me. I only wanted one to show customers what else I do. Blaise in Trees Not Blazing Trees
16. I would lend you mine 60" 88 just picked it up today! Looks like your sorted and Stephen is MUCH closer. Anyway can't wait to see the pics.
17.
Just read though the list of prize winners from the raffle, I have been baffled by the AA:Fungi Guide arriving and needing a signature! Especially as my membership has lapsed LOL. I just wanted to say Thanks so much and I hope you have a great year.

18. Fair point, I was thinking of cutting a 100 to 150 turning blanks some to keep and some to sell. Milling some for coffee tables wall art (thanks good idea) then Ive been making cubes and shapes from the centre of the trunk not sure if they will sell yet but I like them. I sell very little raw timber if u like but have been hoarding stuff for launching some sort of venture this summer. Perhaps I should have been more specific I just like to see what other peoples take is on things. Thanks for all the suggestions. Fyi I had all ready removed tow burry limbs before the fist pic there is literally tones of it.
19. I definitely won't log it up I got plenty of other wood for logs. Ive had and used chestnut burrs before on the lath before, but can't possibly turn it all. I was thinking perhaps chunky coffee tables?
20. Scored a great burr chestnut trunk today, Ideas welcomed! Thanks
