Lucky for us the local police are having big purge on metal theives, they had an artical in the local paper asking people to ring the police if they see a pickup with metal items in the back, then the police come out and cheak out the pick and the nice people in the pickup, plus cheak the contents incase any metal that does not belong to the nice people has accidently fallen in to the back of their pickup:001_tt2: The police operation is called operation Hansel.
  2. I bought the fiskars x15 from amazon 31,pounds inc. p and p been using it for a week now and i am very happy with it and i,m not going to use it as a hammer:001_rolleyes:

  4. Had a phone call from the police an hour a go, they have found my daughters bicycle and the rest of our property that was stolen last Wednesday. It was found in a scrapyard 10 miles away, police have arrested the metal thieves:thumbup:
  5. We have given up buying in hardwood, we cut about 20 tons of hardwood out of my own woodland and charge 120 pounds a cube, we have 200 acres of larch so that is mainly what we are selling i think larch burns very much like silver birch.

I looked in to streching a nissan patrol found lots of websites in OZ about streching 4x4s, seems simple enough take body off, cut chassis infront of rear suspension mounts, weld in what ever length of extra chassis you want, flitch plates welded either side, longer prop, hand brake cables and fuel lines and lengthen the wiring looms . simple !

  10. the farmer next door has told me to soak the bottom of the posts in old engine oil, is this any good?
  11. Hi i,ve got lots of larch and need 50 fence posts is larch any good for the job and how would i go about treating them to stop them rotting?

On my benchs, putting a crank in my case 580f digger, putting a crank in a 084 stihl, old one has a hairline crack in the web next to the crankpin! got a crank to put in my MS660, clutch end snapped off! A MS440 needs a piston kit 3 044s that need piston kits, a MS660 needs a piston kit, my missus MS170 needs rings low on compression, huskey 281 needs some helicoils, 2 024 stihls need putting back together and one 026, 2 650 Pioneers need carb kits, 2 danarms need rebuilding, a Canadian PM340 needs an exhaust anyone out there got one? and a customers dolmar ps52. these are just the ones on the benches, lots more on shelves I just love chainsaws,
  13. We have a porsh 280 and do 4 normal dumpy bags an hour with 2 of us working it and loading it with a tractor, the one doing the loading has plenty of time to do other little jobs around the shed.

I own a shop next to my house which i rent to a guy who repairs computers and games consols, came out my house this morning and noticed the shop had been broken in to and emptied, sad thing is 6 months a go this guy was homeless, but has worked hard and made a good little business. But i found out after a few enquiries i came up with a name, gave it to the police and the police found them sat at home surrounded with all the stolen stuff! Plus one of the computers they stole belongs to someone very nasty, who now has their names and will be talking to them about the error of their ways.
  16. I,ve got quite a few Fiskars garden tools, from my time in Denmark, i,ve found it nice gear to use, are the the x15 axes any good ? cheers Mark.
