Here is your old trailer almost ready for work, just a few pipes to tidy up, got it so the crane can be used on the trailer or on the 3 point linkage without the trailer, all new pins and bushes in the swinging bogies, crane all refurbed and the slew pinnon sorted and new grab and rotator and some paint:thumbup: going to try it out tomorrow.

  9. we have had a few people ask us to split for them, but they don,t want to pay a days labour x2 workers cost of machine and fuel and traveling time, it,s cheaper for them to buy ready made firewood off us.

Thing,s are ok here sold less wood in the run up to christmas than last year, but put the price up so have made more money, plus last winter bought us a processor,3 tractors, a 6x6 truck with crane and grab and timber trailer with new grab and rotator, all of which is paid for, so we have no machinery to buy, plus no bad back this winter, the machines do the heavy work.
  12. Got a more modern tractor, for the 4x4 and 40kmh box,it,s a Zetor 6341 year 2000 anyone have any expreance with them good or bad?
  13. 5 grand, registered as special types, dvla said it can,t go from special types to agri, it has to stay as special types, so can still use red diesel when using the truck for forestry work:thumbup:
  14. both windscreens are in it just looks like it,s out in the photo. the truck is in full road going order.
  15. Hi i run an old Foden 6x6 and a A frame drawbar trailer, MOT excempt, tax 165 pounds a year as private HGV and you can insure them social domestic and pleasure for 140 pounds a year, if you use it for forestry you can run on red diesel, for pleasure use, use white diesel.
  16. look at the date wheels on the inside of the plastics.
  17. Esab smashweld 180 mig, used allsorts of migs in the past and can,t fault Esab products.
