  1. That really doesn't look like he's got his happy face on Mark.
  2. A few bits and bobs kind of week and a few pictures of recent bits.
  3. Nice drop near the water tank. [emoji108]
  4. I was literally thinking about you today when I was using the multi spanner you sent me as a kind gift years ago. I hope your well Ted and life's great.
  5. Just found this whilst scrolling through the video thread. Thought it was quite a good video and great perspectives. I couldn't get over how many trees were dead in the area.
  6. Can get on site until 10:30 as all the deliver vans are loading up. Stuff trying to work around that. [emoji23]
  7. Spending the whole week at one of the amazon depots. Lots of security to get on site but it's an incredible process to see how they sort all the parcels. A real military operation goi g on inside.
  8. Wow, what a couple of things to see. Those bikes and riders are crazy though, very cool [emoji108]
  9. Nice pics, that lorry looks very handy. Is that a winch drum I spot on it?
  10. I will try my best when I film the crane job. Might even throw in a bit of stump grinding just for you too. [emoji6][emoji23]
  11. The second bit of footage of Ben Wright ascending into that partially failed oak was a reduction. [emoji6] I did film it but Ben managed to get most of it hung up so it didn't make the footage cut. Here's the before and after. Just thinking about it, I think it's because I like film to be film, pictures to be sideshows and time lapse to be a time lapse video. Just me being me and nothing more I guess.
  12. Mainly what I'm setup for. I do, do reductions put only really take pictures and post them on Instagram or on the today's job thread here. I just never film them really.
  13. Cheers, it's a mavic Pro. Very simple to fly and get the basics, loads of things I haven't learnt to use with it as of yet.
  14. Cheers Steve, still no Megan James (who's video of the etcc was incredible). But I am enjoying the perspective the drone gives to our work. I'm trying to get a fair bit better for an upcoming project that involves craning our stump grinder into the site once the trees craned out.
  15. Finally got round to putting together some video footage of recent projects. Hopefully you'll enjoy and feedback is always welcome. Link below for the video. [emoji116][emoji108][emoji106]
  16. Nice one Steve, josh sent me a picture and he failed to mention you were there. In fact until I saw this post I thought he'd done it all by himself. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] Young guys these days. Can't wait to rib him in the morning.
  17. Not so much today but a few recent jobs.
  18. Coor, what a cedar mick. A mixed bag of works this week for me. Taking out some populars in a church that were in decline and a call out to a large oak that collapsed.
  19. Just their time really, remove and replant. Mostly pretty happy in fairness. Got 24 bottles of beer off one homeowner too.
  20. Only really if I have some free time. Which is normally after work and i just take it out for a fly about to see the world from a different point of view.
  21. Way too heavy for her, the grounds soild so the timber lorry is happy to drive on and collect.
  22. Spent 2 days and a morning on this site. Decided to close it down at 10am as we're ready for the timber lorries next week. So had an afternoon sorting kit out. Nice easy job, trucks close by and the skid steer moving branches.
  23. I'd never get it back if I did.
  24. When you get asked for a favour by your dad to drop a few trees at the local rugby club. I felt so bad I'm lending them the greenmech to clear it up tomorrow.
  25. Just leggy limbs Steve, I think the heaviest bit was a ton. We also had loads of time so no rush as the timber lorry was arriving at 1pm.
