  1. 6-7 hours to complete the whole job. Wasn't a huge tree just a pain.
  2. Yeah it was all included in the price thankfully and always handy to have an extra pair of eyes watching over the lifts.
  3. We got a crane in on this job because it was vastly more efficient than rigging and blocking it down and extracting as the garden with objects below we a bit of a nightmare. Took it nice and easy as we had the time on it which was nice for a change.
  4. A few from this weeks project, clearing out laurels and hollies as part of a regeneration project. We had an ecologist and wildlife inspector on site to help the works progress. Also as you can see had a few bits on demo. Honestly didn't think there was too much between the loaders. Multiones panels were much better with the rhino coating. Hope you enjoy.
  5. Hi Mick, How do you rate the Multione? I've got a demo on site next week and was curious to know your views. [emoji106]
  6. Just a few recent bits and bobs. In fairness I've been taking a step back off the tools, heavily reducing my climbing as the lads are able to do it. Just looking at replacing the skid steer and digger so when I'm needed I can sit on my bum and be helpful.
  7. The guy who owns the very impressive house behind me when I took the picture. This was in his parkland on the approach.
  8. We reduced this oak today, mainly to see if and how long it will survive. Its in a very low risk area and wont reach the driveway. She was really quite solid because of how the tree collapsed. Nothing serious with the reduction, just a little bit of weight taken out.
  9. A couple of jobs today, The first one we were reducing and drop crotching some oaks that has been previously topped for a educational viewing tower at Hickling Broad. Saw 3 Marsh harriers and 3 cranes flying. Second job, knocking down a medium sized pine which had been in decline from needle blight.
  10. It still works and will stop when hit but by holding the f you can override it for upto 30 seconds. Take your finger off and it turns back on. [emoji106]
  11. It allows me to override the stop bar, stop, feed or reverse the rollers and a emergency shutdown. It's good as it removes the lost time jumping in and out and having to have someone standing by it all day.
  12. Redtube and xnxx are also avaliable with this system. ?? Makes working in it a full hard on kind of day.
  13. A bit of learning how to use the WiFi chipper controls and the digger. Also a job from Saturday.
  14. Josh just jumped over to the sycamore whilst getting setup. We've used it more in the last few weeks than I have in years. I do like it's application it certainly helped keep it clear of the septic tanks, up a gentle slope and over a Holly. My Norfolk legs don't really enjoy hills.
  15. V-rigging over some underground septic tanks this morning. I do always forget how handy this setup is.
  16. Tried it once to set a line in the tree, never again as it was too light to come down and as you said drifted wherever it liked. Craig johnson had on at arb camp and he was using the fishing reel and a heavier dud. The only times I use it if I'm setting a line across a bit of water of which a floating dud helps a bit. But I dont use it a lot.
  17. When you could use a throw bomb but you have a line launcher and an opportunity to not waste playing with it. Just getting a hauling system ready for tomorrow.
  18. These climbers will do anything for an afternoon off, [emoji6] A better angle of the tree.
  19. Playing about whilst taking photos.
  20. Just messing around with a photo taken on a recent job.
  21. A bit of works in a woodland belt around a recreation park in Norwich.
  22. Old vicarage in Norfolk Mick, I've attached a link to the place. http://www.e-ruston-oldvicaragegardens.co.uk/pages/view/564/home.htm
  23. Working at the most impressive place I've ever worked. Removing a single poplar near the road. Nothing strenuous for a Monday.
