A few from today. A heavy reduction of an oak as the one behind it fell down and its a very windy area near boathouses and a fancy pub. The rest of us went and cleared some trees from some powerlines. Josh climbed the oak. I was on the powerlines job.

The lads carrying out a reduction on this tpod horse chestnut. Didn't get a picture of the hollow but it had a couple of roots growing inside. Also a slightly random thing in a Norfolk garden. 2 Japanese fire engines.

Hello, I had a bit of free time over Christmas so I put some of the footage from the new website and sites we’ve recently completed before Christmas. A bit of clearing vegetation from a drainage ditch, felling in a rear garden, chipping, yard tidying and showing how rubbish my digger skills are. The surveying bit was for the website more so than anything else. The musics not for everyone but the drone doesn’t do sound unless you like the sound of whirling propellers. Hopefully you’ll enjoy it. http://

Been spending the week clearing out trees as the property had been left for a good number of years. Client wanted some extra trees down so we agreed all the woodchip and timber can stay on site.

It’s been a while since I’ve made a YouTube video and since having the drone at work I’ve kind of got the interest back. Josh climbing and ben rigging. The tree came out from a slight amount of decay at the base but mainly because the client wanted it removed.

Heaping up the woodchip so we can get more in. Next plan is to screen it and get the compost out and the chips can then go out.

Not tree related but taking a few shots for a friend of their project for wildfowl habitat. They’ve 3 more fields to complete before flooding the area a bit more.

That was joshs reduction. [emoji23] pulling that stem over Monday. A bit of both really, Ethan and Eli we’re doing stuff nearby so spotted when needed. Myself and jenny were in the front so could spot from there as well. The most this morning made it a tad slippery for him until it dried out.

[emoji23][emoji23] good point. It means you can run the chipper from the skid steer or digger cab. Doesn’t work on the tv though. But you can see what the buttons are for. Total equipment shutdown. Forward (which now sets off an audible horn to tell you, I didn’t even know it had a horn in it) stop rollers and reverse.

Got the tree commander system fitted today. Can not wait for this week to be over as we had the diff blow in the canter Monday (now fixed) followed by the land rovers light switch breaking and then the fuel pump wire break on the new canter. On the plus side I think that’s all my bad luck sorted out for the rest of the year. Not today but we removed this lime Tuesday.

Today we started clearing a drainage ditch coppicing the willow and alder trees.

All music as the drone doesn’t record sound because there quite noisy.

http:// Hopefully this has worked. I flew the drone over a small wood yesterday after work. It’s been quite a cool thing with the perspective it brings on the world.

We did ask, they said no unless we waited until harvest. Gave the clients 2 quotes and they went with this one.

A couple from yesterday’s job and the clear up of the timber/stump this morning. It was quite nice taking the backseat on the job and letting the lads work it out (I basically dragged, chipped and ground the stump). Always nice when they’ve got ahead and decide to let one of the other lads practice too. I sometimes forget that we need time to practice when time pressures are on a job.

A return visit to a bunker we cleared the scrub and trees off last year. Got a little look inside too which was interesting. It made me think that maybe dying in a blast would be better than staying in one of these.
