He lives just down the road from me in norwich, ask him about why you shouldn't leave your taps on next time you see him.

Cheers Tommer i will find him at the APF as im pole climbing there. Getting more and more treework because i have an alaskan mill as im 1 of 3 companies in my area that have the ability to mill so thinking of investing in something that give a better cut and saves my saw wear and tear.
-
Hi Tommer9,
Just wondering if you could give me some help with info on mobile bandsaws, im thinking of either going down the woodmizer or lucas mill route? Yours is a woodmizer? like whats the cost of the bandsaw blade, rough fuel consumption for a day, if you know anywhere the sells secondhand ones, known problems with associated with bandsaws etc, just basic things.

Hi, are you looking for employment or freelance work? I'll keep my ear to the ground for you and see whats about. PM me your details so i can pass them on too.

Hi Axel, Yeah 50L drums would be a fine idea. I guess being in drum format you would get round the transportation issues?
I guess the problem is as im a small company i wouldn't want more than 50L sitting around at anyone time and a drum would be good as that only takes up one space unlike multiple 5L cans which are hard to stack.

Hi Axel,
I was thinking 25L as its a storage issue 2 X 25Ltrs would be much easier to store than 10 X 5L as i think 200ltr is too much for me to want to store in one sitting as such. What is the legal problem with the 25l containers? as it would be nice to get them in.
-
Just a quick question as i haven't got over to my Aspen dealer this week, what size of 2t do you do? What sizes are there after 5L as a 200L drum is far too big for me to contemplate storing as it will be a prolonged fire hazard as such.
Thanks, Ian

I'll quiz young plattons as there coming pole climbing with me and dave keylock in a couple of weeks. He was quite adiment that he didn't buy it. Martin does like to brag.
-
Hi, dan phones been playing up.
Yeah i popped in to see martin this week and asked him if he had bought the platform from the auction. He said he was thinking about it but didn't bid but wishes he had.
Another question where could i do a loler course as there seems to only be loler inspectors in north norfolk? Maybe i should take over the south....

Rob,
just wondering if you are going to post any vids of the peterson/skillmill?
Would like to see a video other than their promo one.
Cheers, Ian

Rupe, I think the corsican pine video is as good in quality as mine. Will have a little go at converting to wmv file instead. Liked the rigging block setup too.

Hi Rob,
Im thinking of buying the Alaskan mill 3 36" from you and was wondering if the arbtalk 10% was applicable for the mill itself?
Ian.
