  1. There are a few questions here & just to clarify, 16mm is a large diameter bolt as ours are only 1/2" (13mm). The torque is 125-150 lbs/ft. Overtightening the bolts is as bad as not tight enough as the bolts will stretch & weaken. On the FSI grinders the bolt spacing on the pockets is not industry std, the spacing is larger meaning you can only purchase the parts from Denmark & you cannot swap between Finger, Green or other unless FSI supply. The Greenteeth can be turned Three times without touching the pocket (pics attached).
  2. I know of a chap that has a machine for sale but wants £2K, not sure if this is an option if you get stuck.
  3. Shane you will be pleased to know but not suprised that the Bandit machines have this system built in as std, just turn off a tap and hand pump the brakes off. simples
  4. Thanks to all who have had a look or given us a like over the last week, any who haven't visited please do.
  5. i spent years repairing them when I worked for a JCB dealer & it was a full time job. Cummins engine was poor, Perkins was underpowered, gearboxes out most weeks + poor steering lock & non existent brakes. I can't comment on newer models as no experience.
  6. I have too much time on my hands.

  8. What is all this talk of remove guards, remove springs, remove belts etc. Do you not just lift the top roller with a hydraulic cylinder or is that just us?
  9. Not sure but think it was down your way.
  10. I've spoken to someone today thats lost a landrover, chipper & £12K worth of equipment.
  11. What is this Raptor, I've seen articles in magazines saying coming soon. Do I need to panic?
  12. Let me think about that for a moment.
  13. Have you had a look at this Dan? The HB19, 13hp, Greenteeth & tow package, 5yr build warranty & in stock. Also have a Predator F350 in stock, 2010, 1 owner.
  14. No need to panic on this Pink beauty as it will stay in Calafornia, built for cancer awareness so not a bad thing. I bet theres every chance of another ( might order one for the UK:lol:
  15. As std 12" or you can order a 14" to be built, have a 12" for sale at the moment with only 18hrs worked (2007).
  16. What a brave but fantastic post, anyone who has a dog will feel exactly the same. It took me years to get a dog as I didn't know if I had the time to look after one properly, he is now 2 1/2 & couldn't imagine a minute without him. He loves it when I come in at 2am drunk, still get a warm welcome.
  17. Seen some different colour options on here before but wow look at this Bandit 12" drum chipper. Don't think anyone would steal this.
  18. Liam we have a Bandit 12" pto in stock we would consider hiring, give me a shout tomorrow as i'm at the office. Dean 07730000498
  19. The 4WD grinders are great & will get most places but are 35" wide without the dual wheels, it's always a compromise between narrow access & having a substantial machine. This is available as belt drive or hydraulic drive now. The newer grinders of 35" width are more compact now & better balanced and there is 29" which is our smallest. I think all machines have there place in the market but very few people swap from a Bandit. Stump grinders are big business at the moment, we have sold & delivered Eight in Two weeks.
  20. Sorry Jesse, had a look at Two manuals today but no mention of belts in either nevermind adjustment. I don't think you will be a million miles away with 10mm deflection in the middle of the two pulleys but I would contact the manafacturer to be sure.
  21. Sorry for delay but been a little busy last week, bearings are £63ea including casing & we have sold 26 in the last three years ( basically 4 sets per year). Not even sure if all these are for HB20's as I know these bearings fit some competitors machines.
  22. Not sure on this as I am not familiar with these, I will get someone to check tomorrow as I have just traded some in so should be in the manual. Saying that I am lead to believe that some have had the clutches & belts changed to different types.
  23. Let me put a call into the office tomorrow & see how many we have sold in the last three years, you will have to trust my answer I think considering how many are now out there & sales are not slowing on these, four more sold in the last ten days Delivered another today.
