  1. Is it on the deck? Or to be felled?
  2. I recon so...more and more land being developed for silly prices. As with everything the cost usually goes 1 way and that's up. I am fed up of renting, pay peanuts for it but i dont wanna do too much to it because i know 1 day i will be booted off.
  3. Jepers...I have looked on the net religiously for around a year now and stuff of this size in this area is around 6 grand, i would happily pay more for the right piece.
  4. There is just over an acre of grassland within walking distance of where i live, i have being here just over 3 years and nothing has ever been done with it. I have the address of the current owner...worth asking if they would be willing to part with it
  5. Sorted...now to find out how much its worth!
  6. How do you find out who owns a piece of land ? i have tried land registry but it mite as well be in Chinese.
  7. Cam and spring just ordered...you wouldn't think metal could be worn out by a bit of rope...yours is worn more than mine. do you use it in every tree?
  8. How old is it like? if its that bad why are they still running it?
  9. Dam...Knew i shouldn't of deleted mine.
  10. Mite try that 11.7 instead as tachyon is doing me hands in.
  11. Me too, wants to tell me how to get rich or something.
  12. Second thoughts the cam does look pretty worn
  13. The body dont look that worn??? cam is in same way as the arrow on the body, that doesn't look bad either...what is the purpose of the spring? on mine it is not doing anything?
  14. Was that lifting timber? its huge
  15. Far as i am aware yes...think there is an arrow on it...will have a look tomorow
  16. 13mm...really! i tried 13mm when i first got it and it was horrible! wouldn't self tend at all, kept having to pull it through. 11.5 Tachyon works great with it, if there is enough weight of rope through it self tends
  17. Why does it keep breaking down? same problem?
  18. Its not had that much hammer, i normally only use it on crown reductions etc...before i changed the cam it still grabbed the rope it just slid down it a bit, then i swapped it and as far as i remember it was fine. Rope is knocking on a bit, its not warn badly as i always use a cambium saver with it.
  19. Cant you write Timberwolf over it
  20. So whats happened with this machine??? anybody know?
  21. My spiderjack wont grab the rope when i put my weight on it...sometimes its fine then when you don't expect it same thing happens again and i have to push the tail of my rope away from me so it grabs! i don't wanna use it now for obvious reasons. The cam had being replaced not long ago, what else wears out? or what could it be?
  22. try Forst tomorrow, not ideal if you need it first thing! loose wire? sensor?
  23. People keep mentioning this in feed speed...if its a problem it can be altered surely? And surely the no stress will kick in to stop it??
  24. Correct me if i am wrong...Driving a 3.5t Isuzu grafter and towing a 3.5t trailer within 33 mile of base, i DO NOT need a tacho or O licence...drive outside the 33 mile then i do...
  25. What grease do you use for your chipper/stump grinder? mainly the flywheel shaft of cutter head shaft? I did have a huge box of grease tubes a friend acquired for me but they are almost gone so need some proper stuff asap.
