  4. Road planings, so would of thought getting stuck wont be an issue
  5. Desperately seeking some sort of wheeled loader for use in the yard, will be used for pushing the fire up. moving ibcs full of logs etc. Telehandlers cost too much, tractors with front end loader are to numb to maneuver, have being looking at Kramer Allrad with 4 wheel steer and drive but they are like hens teeth. Now looking at little skid steers...who owns/ operates one? its about the only machine i have never drove, pros & cons

    Decay

No other trees near it, and its on a raised banking so i cant see how it can be mechanical. No never used 1 before

    Ash

Found this on a medium sized Ash today. the cavity is fairly small, but the bark just pulls off really easily at the base? no signs of mechanical damage from strimmers etc

    Decay

What is the cause of this on a Sycamore? how far will the decay go into the tree? i have seen this before but usually the decay is compartmentalised and does not penetrate the xylem far. But how do you know for sure?
  11. if im not busy i like to keep them talking then just stop speaking and see how long they stay on the line for.
  12. Have you bought from there? i don't think i will have time to go and look. Yeah it looks tatty but that doesn't matter
  13. The little Weidemann loader
  14. What they like? there is a loader on their that i wanna look at.
  15. Has anybody dealt with Lambe Agri in Spalding before?
  16. Sending someone else around on your behalf seems a little lazy to me, part and parcel of getting a job is making yourself known to customers, which means dealing with them face to face. If your not motivated or social enough to represent yourself your setting yourself up for a big fall. I have quoted on jobs in the past and have being more expensive than other firms but have won the work because the other companies sent someone on their behalf because they couldn't be arsed turning up themselves. you will only succeed if YOU drive your business forward
  17. Actually in Wakefield
  18. i think it does on the plate but i haven't took much notice, must be an early 1 as it has the black fuel tank. i will look tomorrow
  19. It aint doing bad, last 2 days has being clearing trees around another building site, it honestly has smashed everything we have put through it, it breaks down unions for fun and just spits them out. We have slowed the rollers down so it isn't riving your hand off and it keeps 2 of us busy no probs. bad points there is a 1 pence clip under the coolant reservoir that drips coolant out "jubilee clip will sort that" engine was on tick over today and just stalled, had to turn it over a few times to get it going, think it was a bit of crap in the fuel line because its run fine since. This is redwoods hire machine and has had 135 hours of people throwing the biggest crappyist pieces of **** through and generally abusing it like every other hire machine and it has not put a foot wrong since we have had it. Cant wait for mine to come...i am getting used to this remote controlled 1 too much If you are in the market for a new chipper i would defiantly look at 1.
