  5. get the protector pro's rob, i slept in mine the other night they are sooo comfy. oh i'll post pics/vid of cutting up chainsaw boots from today with ms460, that will scare the schmite out of you.. straight through twice in different places with a log inside, didnt pull any clogging material out at all, oh they were the ancient stihl boots,
  6. once bought an efco 152 chainsaw, and it was pants.. paid £270 for it and gave it some hard abuse, looking back it spent a good amount of time on most jobs in bits, was going to stick the engine on my mountainbike but it needs a coil and hasnt run for at least 5yrs.. it sat in the garden for over a year hoping to get stolen but nobody bothered so its back in the shed as easy picking bait..
  7. there is a company called PBHorticulture at the top of kirkburton, top of the steep hill next driveway to armitages garden centre, they have been known to accept chip, they also sell trees pretty cheap too.. i'll try to dig a number out for you.
  8. you are welcome to use mine at HD4 but its across town, where exactly is 'gods own county'? sounds close but im rubbish with roadnames:thumbup:.. how much is there? Ed.
  9. client went to move his 10plate ranger back up his gently sloping gravel driveway, didnt matter how gentle with revs/clutch he was, the wheels were spinning as he got slowly further away from where he wanted to be.. eventually he got a run up and made it before slamming the door in anger and watching as the landy did it backwards with a chipper in tow without any spin at all..
  10. ziplining is fun, we had a small one rigged at sts northern climbing do (nobody was being paid to install it past the first branch), that processor dude will have to sharpen his axe now..
  11. last apf we stopped over in back of a van in a nice quiet carpark, it got busier and busier the later it got.. lots of men parking next to each other then getting into each others cars etc.. still a bit disturbed by it now..

  13. been picking this week, so far had blackberry crumble, raspberry and cherry crumble, swapped some woodchip for a load of apples and plums, the woman made the plums into plum jam. swapped more chip for spuds, carrots etc. found a haul of hazelnuts on a hazel we coppiced.. oh and a couple of pigeon eggs in an omlette:thumbup:
  14. hope it works for you, when i sold up my last business and went full time i was just hoping it would work out, its going ok now but i'm thinking i might need a new tent soon and am starting to panic a bit in case i cant afford, also i think the landowner will find me living in his wood one day..

  21. tiny trees but what a difference..
  22. :thumbup1:blinking advertisments doing their job here..
  23. he sounds like an uneducated oaf, think like him, how would you kill a neighbours tree? nip into their garden and pour some oil based liquid or other harmful substance into the ground near the tree base, are there signs of ground disturbance? nearby vegetation suffering? a quick dig around in the soil might show up foul play. dont forget a lot of rowans are dying of a vascular disease at the moment, any photos? Ed.
  24. strong smell of melting plastic/rubber last week, i annoyed the woman by asking her 3times what was on fire in the kitchen (she has a history of cooking pizza with the foam base still under it), then noticed the black rings on the carpet as the underlay was burning.. oops
  25. Kev on his back, Rob with aerial boner, and the view from the back of the landy when i woke up..
