  2. looking forward to snow driving this morning, then landy wouldnt start.. easily fixed with mates booster, then having to 'heavy-breathe' on nearly all the padlocks (need a new blowtorch) to de ice them, pushing chipper across gravel..no grip in snow..slipped and nearly landed in freshly squeezed dog mess(thanks dog).. finally got to work an hour late and got a 3hour job done in 45mins, really miss calculated with that one, right way round for once though..
  3. delivered for £39.95, worth it just for putting on the dogs collar to save me shouting it.. haha he would think im right there..
  4. bought a loud bull horn.. moooo, thinking of wiring it to a hidden switch to go off when handbrake is released without switching off haha
  5. got a heavyduty steeringwheel lock (wheels on full lock), kill switch, into neutral on the diff lock lever(so i rev it every morning till i remember haha), chain round pedals to steeringwheel, usually chained to an ifor trailer thats chained to a conreted in ground anchor, the night vision cams are getting delivered soon with a security light that takes photos.. any other ideas welcome as i dont wana end up landyless like so many we hear about?

  11. thats not good, how did they get in?
  12. had problems with bt wires loads of times, usually because they've frayed from rubbing branches, as soon as tree is climbed they snap and its my fault, found a chap who used to work for bt (proper bt served 20 yrs) who puts new lines up for about £50, unless its over a busy road, he even extended some for us and layed them on the ground so we could fell a load over them then put wires back up after, think that was £100. if they look suspect i pop £50 on job now...
  13. the LA form etc should be free, needs notice (longer for bigger roads) just a 2 page form, the LA round here informs the emergency services for us as well, we've had hired lights from a hire firm for £150 a couple of times, qualified guy sets them up, but usually lacking with the full chapter 8 kit so will look for a proper lights company nexttime.
