  2. well had a visit today, to my self build site from local police community support officer, she wasn't interested in my concerns about people on the site at night however she was there to talk about 20ft of hedge that she wanted me to cut back, because of complaints from parish council, ( oh and they want me to do it by end of month because of bird nesting ) The hedge is fine, in my eyes and that of my neighbours. It just bloody annoys me that these people fill there time with such bull

  4. sorry to hear about the thefts, its getting depressing reading how many companies and smaller teams are getting done over, im trying to work out at moment where best to store my gear but from reading threads it seem if they want it they will get it. I personally think their isnt enough being done to catch the theifs, the police dont seem to want to know or dont care.

  16. a foreman should be someone who has worked his way up and gained industry knowledge, there are to many quick 6 week courses and fast track course bring people into the industry with know real knowledge at all who want management foreman roles. i would personaly pefer to have foreman manager who has as worked in the industry for a while (walked the walk not talked the talk)
  17. its down to individual you know yourself when your body has had enough, i didnt mean everyone of a certain age should quit climbing
  18. i think with the way health and safety has become a foreman these days has a lot more to be responsible for with new rules and regs, and anyway a climber only has a certain life span before the body says time to give up and become a foreman

  20. After breaking down a week ago 150 miles from home, while towing trailer, it was the trailer that had a problem not the car, I was told by the breakdown company that they dont cover trailers unless the car has a fault,( then they will tow both) i dint read the very small print my mistake, So my question is which breakdown compaines do you use who cover the vehicle and also trailers and chippers say if bearing went etc.
