    log cabins

    Im hoping to swap static on land for holiday let log cabin but having real problems finding decent log cabins at a good price. they all seem to look like cheap garden sheds. has anyone got one or know of any decent companies out there, was looking for round wood but think the price might be to much. cheers for help

  3. I had same problem with mine in the end turned out to be a very small mesh filter in carb missed it first time i had a look but once cleaned worked fine

    The pig is already in half haed to tail and i will try find link but i used 4 gosx on around 2 acres did very good job. only access to large gas bbq but might try make log pit with grill

    well about a year ago arb members suggested i get some pigs to clear some land they did a great job, but now i have to bbq half one for family friends on a very large gas bbq has anyone done this before and if so could they give me the basics to doing a good job, my expertise runs to burgers etc so really dont want to bulls it up.

I have a 3 acre bit of land, and I want it to earn some money, I have had a number of ideas caravan club site (parish council went loopy) animals but site not big enough to make profit, logs but misses wants more family freindly idea im stumped at minute. I know i wont make my fourtune out of it, but I just want it to make a small amount, Its on the edge of a village with good access.

    Thankyou all for input im sure more pictures will follow going through old shed full of old bits and bobs. will be very busy on ebay for next month or two

    Does anyone know what these bits are I have found in the shed and what they are off, the wheel says avon traction cushion on it and the metal bits have know id
  19. with the thinnning would you leave in habitat piles or would small poles have any value in anyway to sell on
  20. I have a client who has roughly 2 acres norway spruce all tightly compacted in around 40ft in height and varying in dbh from 1.5 to 5 inches they want to make this a more productive woodland any ideas.

  22. what about a loadhandler instead think they cost around £150 and designed for pickups from reviews i have seen everybody seems very happy with them.

    ecology reports

    I needed an ecology report on my self build plot, was informed i was not aloud to do myself as my arb qualifications werent relevant i have fsdc. so had to pay company £800 for a pathetic report my kids could have done and they were cheapest in area. it included bats trees basics really not rocket science loads of examples on google
  24. Im just finishing self build down in canterbury we went for timber frame brick clad using roe timber for frame and got quotes of mybuilder for brickies. I put hold on business for 6 months to do plumbing, wiring etc and saved a large amount we went for average priced fittings and the house will work out at around 155sqm and 645 per sqm the added cost is all the substainable homes requirements and surveys they make you carry out
