  1. If its any help my new HS81R just wouldn't run properly, exactly as your first 2 paragraphs.Local dealer said its to do with lean running and emissions law.But ive solved it by trial and error - i start it on full choke and keep it on 1\2 choke for first 10 minutes, then its fine all day.Hope this helps.
  2. I pruned a mahonia last nite after tea.Not so much got out of bed for £50 as off my bum for £25 for 15 minutes work, and thats mrs oldwoodcutters sunday lunch sorted out.

  4. even after you've talked to both parties and thought all was ok,they can still kick off.sometimes ive had to load up again a bit smartish when caught between 2 fires, before ive hardly started.and the ladies are often worse than the men.
  5. They even ripped a local village post box off its pole the other night.

  7. i had someone actually get into my work area the other day and ask me "who comissioned you to take this tree down?"

  9. when for once she doesnt moan about the smell of steaming clothes around the logburner. when your groundie is about to collapse you offer him some cheerful encouragement, even though you are more tired than him. when you take her out for sunday lunch and soon realise that you forgot to clean the dogpoo off the truck pedals, and the groundies seatbelt has left a bold green stripe across her new pink jacket.
