  5. Dont even mention Pyracntha we have loads of it to do and many of the beds require wading into to, Quilted boilersuit helps. and when the hedgetrimmer batters them off my knuckles instead of cutting them im well pissed off. Loads of berberus around as well who evers idea it was to plant those around a car park should have been made to prune the damn things naked! Grrr I find pins are a waste of time I use a nice new Irwin bimetal stanley blade and a pair of modded tweezers.

  9. It aint fibreglass! Its way tougher. Ok will have a go doing kindling for the crack. Ive seen me in the past we would take down a tree and i would have it blocked up and split with the small Fiskars axe before my buddy would be back after dumping the branches. Looking forward to getting my hands on the new X25 or X27 splitting axes.
  10. Fiskars Brush Hook Hand Axe Trimming Chopping 911041 on eBay (end time 09-Jan-11 10:04:41 GMT) You mean like this? I have one but would never have thought of using it to split kindling!
  11. Blew the speaker in my c902, replaced it for £3.50 from ebay and watched a vid on youtube on how to take it apart. So its fixed and resigned to a spare You ever use the "Best pic" feature, Ive picked out some good shots from that. Hated those angled buttons for texts though. For pics on the computer the mobile seems great, I use mine if i take anything apart i can zoom in and see where the wiring goes in 3 weeks when the bits arrive and also they cant argue about serial numbers when you need parts and have the pic of the number with you. Old K800i pic.....
  12. I had one as well but upgraded to the W995 and its even better If i take a pic of our tractor on the other side of the road i can zoom in on the pic and read the serial number! I use it more than my digital camera. I have an Olympus MJu zoom 115 film camera that used to take really great pics for a compact but the shutter button was poor I had to use it on red eye flash so it took the pic while steady. I saw one sell on ebay for £5 damn thing was £240 when i got it! The GF shakes every time she takes a pic I doubt she will ever get the jist of pressing the button without moving her hand lol
  13. Traffic Scotland > Home The live eye views are really handy. Traffic Scotland > Live-Eye-Views
  14. FISKARS HANDY 1000 AXE on eBay (end time 29-Dec-10 10:58:25 GMT) I use a Fiskars and its the best axe ive used.
  15. We have filled one small shed from empty with 2 full transit pick up loads stacking it. It only takes 1 if we just chuck em in.
  16. http://www.arboristsite.com/showthread.php?t=114624 The Husky guide for me for rakers only. The Stihl and Oregon style make a flat raker that you need to modify. Im sure i can find more threads that show making the rakers aggressive SLOWS the speed of the cut down, Modern saws are designed to cut at a high rpm.
  17. Why would you want the worlds heaviest 64 cc saw when you can have the lightest 79 cc saw on the SAME chassis instead? My 7900 came from Ebay new for £450 but that was a few years ago. BTW long time no hear from will respond to your Email soon!
  18. [ame] [/ame]LOL the best Christmas song ever! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3wz3SfdMZA]YouTube - Papa Roach - Kick In The Teeth (Official Video)[/ame] Saw these guys on Sat In Glasgow at the Taste of Chaos tour and i never realised until they opened with this that they were not into rap metal any more!!! Loved it!
  19. Heck Kevin i didnt think you did anything stock!
  20. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3UTDBQ-N82o]YouTube - Ported Husqvqrna 262XP Goofy filed chain[/ame] My ported by myself Husky 262XP worksaw. If they are supposed to wear out faster, I rather doubt it. I bet the lifetime is about the same total turns of the engine unless your modding to the extremes. I think its a case of 2 + 2 =5 when you port and do some chain work that thing is running an 8 pin sprocket with a square filed chain. It starts easy as long as your really commited to ripping on the rope and is well mannered it will sit and idle all day.
  21. Yep its control of emmissions thats holding saws back. Making them cleaner seems to be making them heavy. Ported saws are real fun to use especially when your mate has a stock one and your both cutting the same log lol
  22. Its all i ever buy now seems great value for money and ive only ever broken the lock off a locking extension bar and they replaced it right away. the little 1/4" set is great for working on saws and seems to be my most used. When i was 18 i bought a 40 piece set with the "Boxer" wrench with the direction change on the handle, Man has that set taken some abuse! I did crack a 17mm socket but i had hammered it on with a 4lb hammer then used a 6 foot scaffold tube in it to remove a broken locking wheel nut, It still took it off. The 1/2" locking extension bars are really handy theres bugger all worse than not being able to retrive a socket from way up in some hole. no issues with the rachet spanners or the nomal ones i have.
