  1. At that size you should forget the tea and get yer butt in gear! Should be doing between 3 and 5 per hour if they are close. I had a round of 300 gardens for garden aid to be cut twice a month working 8am to 6pm and rarely had to work a friday to get them done:001_tongue: I do one garden and charge £5 but if she is in i go over it 3 times to make it look like its taking me enough time to charge a fiver lol
  2. When your little 2 stroke runs the crankcase changes from positive to negative pressure every cycle, The Impulse hose transfers this from the crankcase to the fuel pump diaphram on the carb. This in turn makes the little pump work. Many many 2 strokes dont have an impulse hose as its done direct through drillings in the carb manifolds.
  3. LOL yep we get a few of those! The people that take 3 hours to cut their grass and im in and out in 20 mins!
  4. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQmEd_UeeIk]YouTube - Avril Lavigne - What The Hell[/ame] Well maybe not listening to but the Vid is well worth watching:thumbup:
  5. Does it file the rakers flat or do you need to still slope the fronts without the guide?
  6. Reading a book just now called " Spunk on the bed" by Mister Completly.......

  10. Makita DCS7900 with a 25" bar to top one 3" post lol It was nearest to the back of the van and fueled to go....
  11. Does the rakers at the same time but they are £35 i think!
  12. I would have a go, But Try to clean the pot without honing. 2 strokes only have a thin layer of Chrome/Nikasil and a re not meant to be honed and are meant to wear out many pistons before the bore goes. Some strong toilet cleanes have Hydrachloric acid and thats better for cleaning off the Aluminium. Mr Muscle oven cleaner works. but may take a few very careful applications, As in you dont want to get any on the exposed Aluminium parts of the pot like the exhaust and inlet ports.
  13. The FS 400/450 has had the bulbs forever, They suck the fuel through the carb. Def pro models! It has to be better having the carb filled with fuel before trying to start rather than doing all the hard work dragging fuel through with the tiny pulse provided by the engine being pulled over.
  14. Diesel in Inverness BP 139.9, In Brora yesterday 146.9 When will it stop!
  15. Yes we can buy from Gemany I did find one but you would need to ask for postage costs for UK. The french maul is bloody ugly lol comes with its own white flag inside the handle lol
  16. If its only tax on the purchase price it might not be too bad, Carrage is a bit harsh!
  17. Im not sure for a day but we can fill a transit pick up in 20 mins, As in its falling off full! Boss tells us 7.5K for it but who knows!
  18. You mean one of these:thumbup: We have one and it seems great, The double splitter rams mean it can put a huge amount of wood through in no time. The only problems have been the odd bolt coming loose. Its a total pain to change the chain, 3 hands would help! but we can wack 40 tons through it and the chain is still good. your loader will be sweating keeping up!
  19. Changed the oil seals on the drive of my HRX 537 last week......Easy enough but bloody hell is there a lot of stuff to take off to get to them!
  20. I bought some files for doing square chain and got nailed and a Hitachi Impact wrench and was nailed again, I think it was £10 just for the privilage of charging me the VAT! Amazon have the X25 for £74.99![ame=http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fiskars-122480-X25-Splitting-Axe/dp/B003SE6T8W]Fiskars 122480 X25 Splitting Axe: Amazon.co.uk: Garden & Outdoors[/ame] And Fiskars Splitting Axe X25 [122480] | The Garden Shop Online for £60 Fiskars X25 Antishock SoftGrip Splitting Axe 722mm Long for Large Logs : Tooled-Up.com £54.99 but want £9.95 for delivery to the City of Inverness but is free if your in England Grr If i had the money i would get 100 of the darn things to sell on ebay!
  21. I know! But with the postage and no doubt the VAT and what they charge for the privilage of collecting the VAT, I will wait. They seem to be raving about these axes on AS.
  22. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ZXmLIgnvRE&feature=player_embedded]YouTube - WWW.BIJLENSHOP.NL - Fiskars kloofbijl X25[/ame] Found this jem, Ive been after one for ages, Finally found one in the UK for £60 delivered but now Fiskars make a longer handles version called the X27 so i might just hang on until they are in the UK. Someone here on this site should be selling Fiskars axes:thumbup:
  23. A bit more Money but a lot more mower is the Honda HRX, I use a 537 and it cannot be faulted, Huge bag thet packs very well even in the wet. The Hydrostatic drive is awsome, No buggering about with gears just move the handle to any speed you like. I pushed my van on the flat just to show off how powerful the drive was! The plastic body is really tough, The engine fires first time every time and you have the option of mulching from 10% to 100% or bagging just the same. The engine keeps running when you travel without the blade running and stays running while you change the bag. They do a roller version i think its called the HRX 536. Spoke to a local contractor who seems to have had every mower on the market, And cuts a LOT os slopes. He tells me the Honda is the only mower thats lasted more than one season! My Boss has Johh Deeres but I always use my own personal HRX!
  24. Ireland's worst air disaster occurred early this morning when a small two-seater Cessna plane crashed into a cemetery. Irish search and rescue workers have recovered 1826 bodies so far and expect that number to climb as digging goes on into the night
