  1. I cant belive you sold the 7900! Running a 25" on mine its an awsome saw. You milling? Got some loops of square just have to get some files and practice making them sharp.
  2. Your still alive!!!!! Tricks is great only just found this site! Thought for a while only me and Dibbs had modded saws in the UK! I put the bar adaptor to good use and have a Stihl bar on the Makita 7900. You seen Ginks modded Dolmar 7900 vid!!   3. [ame] [/ame] Baffles what baffles!!!! The baffles are gone in both those saws.
  4. Yep Al they dont need to be over pretty to work well. Im not so proud of the welds on this one, The welder was not playing nice that day.

Heres my woods ported 262XP Tha squish has been tightened the exhaust port widened and raised 1mm, The intake was reshaped and widened the lower transfers were shaped for better flow and the uppers opened 2mm towards the intake. The exhaust exit has been opened to 120% of the modded exhaust port. It 4strokes well at 13,900 and cleans up in the cut nice. Its my go to saw, Its so much fun to use. Hell guys i even have a muffler modded FS250 strimmer.
