  1. There is a decent looking kx080 on steels near me. Been up for sale for a good few months.
  2. Hello, Nifty tracked MEWP. Starts up, track it a few metres starts to overflow hydraulic oil from the filler (with cap on and tight). If you open the cap it stops and seems to run fine for hours. If you turn the engine off it stops and restart the engine (without removing the cap) it seems to run fine. Trying to work out why it might be doing it. Why a sudden surge of pressure after start up from cold but at no other times. Any thoughts?
  3. That's some interesting data. So something more akin to a large scale move away from land inefficient agricultural activities such as sheep farming to woodland could deliver the best target results.
  4. Practically, what are you proposing? Deeply bury freshly felled trees etc? I think conceptually it is interesting but how would it be achieved in reality? It is often quite controversial point when I say it to people (particularly as a tree contractor) but planting trees isn't going to be the 'silver bullet' that many people portray it as. As you stated - its a cycle so isn't actually de-carbonising above the above ground environment, merely lengthening the time scales. Every time we dig it up, we've subtracted from the 'store' and added to our environment.
  5. Looks like a 24 hour period - awesome. Shows what can be done when they have the right resources and planning.
  6. yeah, to the max. It's a great tractor on site - Low COG and feels really stable on the rough stuff. I mainly run a seppi miniforst and zanon flail on it. Brilliant combo. Its just at 'quicker' road speeds you feel it. It's runs the farmi 260 ok so far. Just run it at 540 and keep the stress on low.
  7. I definitely feel it on the Dorado! Its got quite a bounce if you have anything over a ton on the back.
  8. Yeah, I saw these before on eBay and thought it might be useful for this kind of thing. I have mulcher that is pretty hefty and thought it might be easier on the tractor to carry it on a trailer and hook it up rather than have it bouncing along on the linkage at 40k.
  9. That would be ideal, not sure I've got enough height on mine though. I can just about lift the chipper with the multione so the plan will be to have that, knockabout grapple and chipper on a trailer behind. Once set up I feed the chipper with the grapple. Chipper is remote control as well so a nice little set up. Excavator can't lift the chipper though.
  10. I did see these before. On some implements they would save a lot of cursing!
  11. Yeah, I cant imagine it would be highway approved. Couldn't find anything on the legality on google. I can tow the chipper and loader together on a trailer behind the tractor. Just extra faffing hitching and unhitching.
  12. Woodland work. Would be too cumbersome for arb I'd say.
  13. Yes, I feed it with an excavator or loader. Be good if it could all go behind each other!
  14. Hello, got a new chipper to go on the tractor. It has a rear ball for an Ifor type trailer. Can it legally be used on the highway to pull a plant trailer with mini digger (to feed the chipper). Or is it purely off road use?
  15. Minor contribution to the conversation - Its the same hyd couplings as the Multione loader.
  16. Not usually one for these fail videos but I saw this one and thought it was worth a share. F*ck me I would have panicked. Sorry if it's a repost.

    3.5t to 7.5t

That would be great but as a 2018 plate is got to be pricey.

Yes, you'd have to be competent already I'd expect. They are just physically providing you with what you need for the test etc.

    3.5t to 7.5t

Is that a 7.5t? I'd have assume 18t from the bulk of it.

    3.5t to 7.5t

Don't get me started! I'm like a kid with an argos catalogue in November - I need very little encouragement to buy more kit!
  21. Something like the m500 maybe. I used a smaller Jo Beau and got frustrated by it, too easy to clog, very limited capacity. If you have a big back garden then it's ok not for professional work. Would a timberwolf ph125 be too big? Cheap to buy, very capable little machines.

    3.5t to 7.5t

If your garage is doing a decent job of the regulars checks you shouldn't be getting many surprises at MOT time though, should you?
  23. How well does a 3 way tipper work on a trailer? With it being quite low doesn't all the chip get inder the wheels and make it a sod to pull away from?

    3.5t to 7.5t

The thing about 10t vehicles is their scarcity. Having a quick look now there are no 10t tipper (and only one 12t tipper) within 150 miles of me. 7.5t and 18t toppers are in abundance in comparison. Easier if you are buying new but I don't have the funds, looking at decent 3 year old, 60-80k vehicles.
