    Why have they built a wall around that in the first place is what I'm thinking! It's going to be a ball ache whatever you do You could airspade around all of those big roots and then consider winching it out... making sure all the roots in connection with the wall have been severed before doing so Grafting it out would be killer, man... Hope you find a solution that works well for you

    I'm pretty bad on Fungi as well but... Sycamore - Polyporus squamosus Chestnut - Bleeding canker Beech - Ganoderma pfeifferi? I have no idea about the black and ooze! ???? Feel free to correct me Nice pictures!

    Some pictures from around my place... I only witnessed the the Oak in the last 3 pictures, it just randomly snapped out when walking the dog in moderate winds. The first picture, the Poplar... its on a pretty steap lean due to prevailing winds, and it's over our drive... all the Poplars are on a heavy lean going all the way up the drive, but this one... as you can see, I'm guessing has laminated itself because of the compression? Take down, or not to take down? Ta
