  1. It doesn't matter Rupe is right!
  2. Are you using a VT with the pulley? If so, that'll be whats causing the slip you're on about... The VT slips a good 6 inches every time which I found extremely annoying, try something more compact like the michegan or distel
  3. Hi mate. Found this video for you on youtube, it shows you how to set a system up with the hitch climber. I use it with a knot called the michigan... I think thats how it's spelt. I love it, very good this system is still rather phyically demanding, if not more. But give it a try and see what you think [ame= ] [/ame]
  4. You should host Fungi courses, I'd be the first to apply They amaze me...and I study as much as I can. But as proven... half of the time, what I think is right, turns out to be the opposite so I think I'm just going to sit back, listen and learn for a bit. Don't worry mate, I won't make a claim against you for cyber-bullying
  5. Damn. I have said it a million times, I'm not top notch when it comes to Fungi, I just wish I was It's hard man, theres so much out there! Don't tell me I'm wrong about the Lignin bit? Otherwise this book I'm reading is utter tosh.
  6. Hama's the expert! Didn't know about that..., can you confirm hama?
  7. I wish I was as knowledgeable as you when it comes to Fungi Hama. You inspire me you really do. I wasn't well educated with Fungi but I'm trying my very best to catch up with people such as you! To me, this looks like the G. pfeifferi? but it's not? Especially by this picture anyway...
  8. I have one, but can't attach to the helmet without using duct tape ha ha. The connector broke. I filmed putting a hammock 30ft up between two spruce trees the other day though. Pretty cool video, I may post it on here, Im not sure

  17. Hard one to study mate. I know I can't help you! Good luck
  18. lol. It'll be a white rot anyway, so it'll be eating away at it's Cellulose and Lignin... These are basically what makes up the structure and strength of the wood so it's not good news. In later stages it will end in the collapse of the tree as Lignin pretty much provides the structural strength needed by the tree... Without lignin trees would collapse on themselves. The tree will no longer be able to flex and bend in the wind... which leads to bye bye. Feel free to correct me.
  19. .....
  20. For someone to state that the Beech came down on its own would make them one hell of a fool. You can see the cut for goodness sake! Ha. I would of laughed at the landlord and informed the council of his unauthorised work straight away! Some people really do pull my chain! Sorry to hear about this mate. I REALLY hope it doesn't come back on you in any way.
