  1. NHS VIEWS on NEW PROPOSALS The British Medical Association has weighed in on the new Prime Minister David Cameron's health care proposals. The Allergists voted to scratch it, but the Dermatologists advised not to make any rash moves. The Gastroenterologists had a sort of a gut feeling about it, but the neurologists thought the Administration had a lot of nerve. The Obstetricians felt they were all labouring under a misconception. Ophthalmologists considered the idea short-sighted. Pathologists yelled, "Over my dead body!" while the Paediatricians said, "Oh, Grow up!" The Psychiatrists thought the whole idea was madness, while the Radiologists could see right through it. The Surgeons were fed up with the cuts and decided to wash their hands of the whole thing. The ENT specialists didn't swallow it, and just wouldn’t hear of it. The Pharmacologists thought it was a bitter pill to swallow, and the Plastic Surgeons said, "This puts a whole new face on the matter...." The Podiatrists thought it was a step forward, but the Urologists were pissed off at the whole idea. The Anesthetists thought the whole idea was a gas, but the Cardiologists didn't have the heart to say no. In the end, the Proctologists won out, leaving the entire decision up to the arseholes in London .
  2. Dont need to build my stocks up cos what I will be selling for the next fourteen months has already been here a year
  3. What have I missed ... What have I missed
  4. I was getting phone calls Christmas Eve afternoon from people wanting logs for Christmas Day
  5. After a mild January how did everyone find their log sales throughout the month?..... Did you sell lots or is the boom in wood burning stoves just an urban myth?
  6. I have desperately been trying to find some crates locally at the right price but no success.
  7. As we near the end of January after a cold hard winter I thought I would resurrect this thread and ask everyone if you still have stocks of seasoned wood left or have you now sold out?.... I have plenty.
  8. I read the initial post before going to bed last night and assumed it was a joke
  9. Sorry Steve we might have been at cross purpose ... I was typing in `Firewood Derby` and expecting to be number one and you obviously meant to type in `Spring Farm Firewood Derby` .... I do expect great things from you for my 99 pence
  10. I`m not seeing it Steve .. its still only on my new posts plus one in a recent thread
  11. Best of luck Ryan, you certainly have the right attitude. Your post is a breath of fresh air compared to the negativity of some.
  12. Ive done the leaflets and had much better response than 0.1%, not had much luck with advertising in stores but just about to go out in village mag with 9000 circulation... suppose time will tell
  13. How old are you Ryan .. apologies if I missed it.
  14. Many people type in `Logs area` how does it fare on such a search?
  15. Does anyone know the percentage of houses in the UK that have stoves or open fires? I am just trying to calculate how many potential customers a 9000 circulation may hit.
  16. Something like this which now has yorkshire boarding on the back and side
  17. Or how about .. Who has the highest IQ ... a. The Firewood man b. The Groundie or is that Groundy ? or c. the Climber...... I would say the highest is the Firewood man who has the sense to stay well away from all the dangerous work then second the Groundie who has the sense to stay on the ground and last of all the climber who twinkles up in the sky as the sun glints from all the shiny little clips with which he adorns himself
  18. I was only thinking this week that nothing seems to be happening in the Firewood forum .. no heated diskushuns .. I was even thinking of starting a thread titled `What IQ is required to sell firewood just to stirr things up a bit or maybe even starting a thread titled `Have you got any logs left`
  19. Have things started to pick up?
  20. At the risk of sounding dim do the keywords have to be one exact word taken from each line on the description?
