i can see why you ask, the bark less texture screams oak doesn't it, I think it could well be but I have some recollection of it being either beech or alder, the other two trees ive recorded it on, I think the photo you saw above was shot with this one of a slime mold also in shot, and this was certainly an alder, and a biggun at that, felled timber. second image here on beech if my memory serves me

same as that, very much thrown by what at first glance appears as you say to be a white print although I still feel this is I. Cuticularis, I think that white stuff is either a bit of mycelial skin or as with the bit to the lower right in the buttress some kind of white or bleached lichen, is it somerset devon cornwall way at all?
