  1. no info but thanks for alerting me to the course!
  2. oh I cant wait to join in on this party! I imagine a new way, where everyone has a scope and gets into the knitty gritty of it all, imagine one day every arb rather than the odd one or two from each generation starts discovering!
  3. indeed, its much more productive for learning when the student is guided toward information rather than just given the answers, often quickly forgotten and nothing learned:thumbup1:
  4. dont beat yourself up over it, everyones doing their best, you didnt know, and came asking the right questions and found out. no one knows all the answers to everything, whats important, and believe it or not it applies to the best of the best, as long as you know where or how to find the answer thats all that matters.
  5. looking at those stains on the lower butt might be worth you looking into Dr Lee Klingers protocol.
  6. watching with interest, a subject long overdue getting "done" on AT:thumbup1:
  7. perhaps a phellinus, but would not rule out gano either
  8. Hispidus, 100%
  9. indeed, microscopes, If you are really interested I will dig out the relevant procedures from a book Ive got and will be going through soon as im all set up, was one of those ridiculously expensive reference books, you know the sort! agreed also:001_smile:
  10. some kind of bark proliferation, something disrupting normal tissue development, could be fungal or bacterial, maybe even nematodes, when I have my scopes I will know more about these weird things that nobody seems to have 100% certainty on. basically I have no idea, but I just got funding for my scopes sorted, so maybe soon I can give you a better idea, AND a much closer view of the internal workings of such fascinating features!!
  11. i can see why you ask, the bark less texture screams oak doesn't it, I think it could well be but I have some recollection of it being either beech or alder, the other two trees ive recorded it on, I think the photo you saw above was shot with this one of a slime mold also in shot, and this was certainly an alder, and a biggun at that, felled timber. second image here on beech if my memory serves me
  12. same as that, very much thrown by what at first glance appears as you say to be a white print although I still feel this is I. Cuticularis, I think that white stuff is either a bit of mycelial skin or as with the bit to the lower right in the buttress some kind of white or bleached lichen, is it somerset devon cornwall way at all?
  13. hazard a guess at Kretz?
  14. top question!
  15. lol, child labour huh! good early start, best way,
  16. just found this doc on tinternet. http://www.petrospec-technologies.com/Herkommer/knots/FM5-125.pdf
  17. spot on I would say old chap:thumbup1:
  18. Big old H. chestnut from yesterday, some gnarly cracks and reactions from previous pseudomona (HCBC) infection.
  19. the right hand side was difficult, very over extended with little to work to, she is a big girl should be good for the forseable as she is responding well.
  20. If it was me and my shout she would get one third of her dimensions thinned out some of the limbs to allow regen inner canopy and come back in 10-15years to reasess crown for further retrenchments, with bi annual inspection of decay/crown condition
  21. Nice old Oak that lost its grip in the winds
  22. Some folk here might want to look at the "Bradbury pound" and how slavery had to be "modified" in order for it to be going on unnoticed, its an incremental thing. One world government, agenda 21 and Codex Alimentarius are the incremental futures of all of us if we don't start pulling the punches now, with our bucks. The Vatican sits at the head of the table, followed by the banking cartels of the Rothschilds, Rockefellers, and a few others and the Royal clans. Taxation was brought in to fund the Napoleonic war, it was to be scrapped after, but the guy who was to instigate that scrapping died just before he was due to address it! We also dont actualy need to pay "interest" WE give our government the power to issue currency, but nowadays this has been taken over by the banking cartels and corporations for "interest". in islamic Law it is against the Law to charge interest, thats why your all so brainwashed by the bought media against Muslims:001_smile: Syria is the last Rothschild bank free country, thats why you all think Bashar al-Assad is a scum bag, your spoon fed media propoganda day in day out. was the same when Gaddaffi went to go over to the gold standard rather than that worthless fiat Dollar:001_rolleyes: I dont know what or how this all can change, but the longer we fund this with our bucks the tighter that noose will get. I learned yesterday that the Vatican are the largest shareholders in at least two of the worlds largest military weapons manufacturers, go figure. Do your own research and find out whats REALLY going on, hidden but yet in plain view, it will make you shudder. And next time you think its all just the way it is, that we run by blundering fools, NO, its by design, we are manipulated to such a degree you cant see the bars of your cell or feel them!
  23. this is a great little story, and just goes to show, anyone can make a difference and even discover something unkown Amateur Mycologist Makes New Mushroom-Plant Companion Discovery | Radical Mycology
