  1. we have room on ours to allow the lads to alter them, if not they have them in the van pack, which all our vehicles have. But john as someone said earlier, its a good idea for people who dont have large company funds etc. I do remember when it was just me, working for civil's etc, and its a pain without help from people like you.
  2. ps, we use croner for our 'in depth' decriptions, answers for ours
  3. follow the AA pro forma? keep it simple and concise? cant beat 'ticky' boxes
  4. Theres much emphasis on being a fast climber, having all the ratners jewelery hanging off their harness, does this make them a good tree worker though.
  5. £80 for 25 litres? dick turpin your local dealer?
  6. When you rely on 'the lads' to sort out the fuel, it can and does get mixed wrong, we have had lads putting red diesel in? by the time you take into account your time for going to the petrol station, unless you live in one, it can get costly.
  7. Most husky dealers should stock it?
  8. It doesnt work out that expensive, when you work out your time for repairing saws through poor mix, going to the garage, etc
  9. What have you heard about the bio oil?
  10. We use it, and are thinking of becoming dealers for it. We have used it now for 18 months, and apart from having to change some diaphrams in the carb's, and adjust them, we have had no ill effects. All our saws are Stihl. It removes the idiot element of mixing two stroke oil and having tail ends putting red diesel in the saws (again!!) But it is around double the cost of normal petrol. We even use bio traffic film remover for our steam cleaners.

  14. there shoulndt be a cost for the approved contractors workshop, as said in other posts, what do they do for the vast majority of tree workers? nowt. what do they really do for the consultants? do they fund the research?
  15. ah yes but your pipe and slipper wearing days are here now! That drinking comp doesnt seem to have progressed!?
  16. you know that big numb panda??, the one with the black eyes?? that was chi-chi! the arb lot will cripple you acedemic girls! get your nose out of the AA journals, you have 1 day for boxing lessons and gym! lol
