  4. that would be tree clear then??? you mind find a tree job is a tree job no matter where it is. ps sky dont be fighting other peoples battles, tail end
  5. I think you could be a good climber and rubbish at treework sure... That was not the question:confused1: But most good climbing tree workers are great all rounders anyway and their desire to be involved with every aspect of the job is what makes them good climbing tree workers, part of this happens through progression in differing aspects of the job, ie, dragging, straight felling, pruning, dismantles ... I know loads of 'sol called good climbers' a few are chmpions, but they wont, chip, drag brash, drive the van, they think they are the elite, and all they should do is climb. Climbing and treework are two totally different things though Different things?? try and dissmantle a tree safely without climbing??

  15. must say,,, my point to this thread has been, A, why do 'climbers' think they are better, Bgroundies are just as good (av been both) but the feeling is, climbers are up their own arses!!!????
  16. so if your on a day rate, would you not fell?, and you may find in the north once the climbings done, you chip in! ( as the forces say.....thats teams work,,,, chipping in!!!)
  17. even so, if he's on a day rate, he could finish at 10 am, good will, would/should let him help the lads?
  18. but, without the butchery, the customer NEEDS to see value for money??????? (is that another debate??))
