  6. most people who have accidents using them are, go on guess.........so called experianced! the lad from a local authority who had his arm ripped off was 24 and had been using one for years, its a good form of insurance. Our lads get regular refreshers. Why do you need to refresh MEWP? Felling, how many new ways of felling a tree can they come up with?

  11. So Lantra chipper refresher training is different to a novice learning?
  12. Refresher training is the same as a first time training?
  13. HSE compliant training is HSE compliant, and if theres an accident no matter who was the assessing body, if your tickets are over 5 years they are still going to ask..........WHY did you not have the advised refresher? right? I think so as thats one of the questions we were recently asked
  14. the only bonus with Lantra is you arnt paying for an external assessor
  15. There is no such thing as NPTC training, its all Lantra, and NPTC now only lasts 5 Years too
  16. Most Lantra instructors would do it at a weekend its only one day, and just booked an assessor for the next
  17. our price would be up there! we charge £260 per man per day min of two men. (ex vat) if there's and risk of damage to property, re-instatement to lawns etc the price goes up in accordance

  18. but you wanted less than £200 per tree?
