looks like limbo bar for the wood folk......how does that happen? The Oak was on wimbledon common.......a really great old wood if you ever get the chance to go........

another fantastic Oak......the way the left hand stem has grown and then abruptly changed directions at such an acute angle.

having looked at i further i am too.........hadnt really seen it until later stages when its a lot browner.......really want to get into the fungi fing but find the id'ing v.frustrating. (note to self......do not admit i am getting into the fungi fing:sneaky2:)

full time back in the park until spring give or thake the odd day here and there. Beautiful day today as well. Did a 20% reduction on a horse chessy this morning and thjen enjoyed the view while colleague (also sean) re-pollarded a small willow. Also found this failed willow with Phellinus.......

I did actually think of that David however the piccie in my Jordans really looked like the oyster........will be more careful with the id'ing in future....not be so rash. Heres some from yesterdays little jaunt. Innonotus Dryadeus Some big porcelines pholiota aurivella?? Phaeolus schweinitzii Bulgaria inquinans Some pinky white slimy type thing And the last two?? Some weird rotten type fungus which looks interesting?? Thought maybe an old m,aze gill but thats a real stab help please.

Not a clue what this is......the only match that gets close (from what i can see) is Phaeomarasmius erinceus. However there is only one photo that looks like mine the others totally different apart from texture and colour. Anyone??

We worked on a saturday and the client stood in his conservatory watching us work all day in the lashing rain.......we finished at 3.30 and he came out and said " oh you've finished earlier than i thought you would" 'Yes' i replied 'it gives you time to get into town' "whys that?" he asks.......'to get yourself a new kettle as yours is obviously broken! " I answered......he disappeared sheepishly.
