    My accident

Its been a year and a bit since my accident and i have been out of hospital since August. What a roller coaster!! I am about to try and write a summary on how life has been since being home as it has been a while. Things have just been so hectic that updates have taken a back seat. I will be in touch shortly though however. As always many thanks to all those that have supported me, sent their regards, asked after me and generally been brilliant.
  2. I'm sure it had a good life prior to that but I'm shocked that you take such obvious delight in the fact Mr Humphrie's! Looks bloody good though.

    Adze?

I've just purchased a Gransfors carving axe and it really is a thing of beauty. Will deffo get an adze in time.
  4. Nice one. You didn't have a enough fuel to go get the pot of gold at the end of it then?
  5. I totally agree. Personally I think their was contact but was over exaggerated. Get rid of diving for sure. Still feel for him however if he should miss out on what could be a once in a lifetime experience.
  6. That's a good shout. Leicester have got a tough run in. I think it would complete the fairytale for Raneiri to go to Chelsea and win the title. I'm kind of hoping that it doesn't end in the next couple of games for JAMIE Vardy's sake really. After all that has happened this season imagine how gutting it is going to be for him to not even be in his kit if they win the title whilst banned. Feel for him. He is going to be out for the next 2 games.

    Turbo Plane

Spot on review. I've got mine now and can see the potential but as you say it will take a while to get a feel for it especially the light touch because it can remove wood at a rapid rate. I was gobsmacked at how smooth a finish can be achieved once used to it however. Great piece of kit.
  8. Some fine looking trees:thumbup1: Thanks for sharing
  9. On the back of one hatrick?
  10. We are finally starting to play football on the floor. We are moving on from the lump it and run. Caroll has scored one hatrick all season, look of the amount of matches he has played the last few years, barely any. He cannot go. Rooney is the skipper, he will go and he is still a class act if fully fit. Strikers should be. Sturridge( but Only) if fully fit and played a run of games. Vardy and Kane obviously. And I would take Welbeck. If not him then Rashford. I would also take a couple youngsters not as part of the squad officially but along for the experience.
  11. Yep just checked in Manual of Wood Decay. What's good for Mattheck is good for me. 😄
  12. Isn't there a way to distinguish between the 2? With Chicken there are apparent while mycelial sheets between the cubes but not so with Fistulina? Or did I make that up at some point?
  13. But now I want to buy Trees in Towns and Cities also. I've read it briefly but never owned it. Aa aargh always too many books to buy! Right better stop hijacking The Humphrie's thread now😄
  14. That's a cracking review mate and it's sold a copy to me. Nice one. Now I have to choose what not to buy.
  15. Is that pretty much the best book to get with regards Urban Tree Planning?
  16. View of Bristol and beyond is Wales. (October)
  17. Only just tapped in to this thread. Hope all good mate and you are on the road to recovery.
  18. Cool. PM me and I will post 2. All gone now folks.
  19. It's been a year since I broke my ribs and one if them still really hurts at times. Not excruciatingly so but at times when knocked or touched causes a sharp intake if breath.
