  1. i shall do thanks , lovely table that dont see many like that often why i hope mine doesnt crack up.
  2. i was going to just ratchet strap it together and leave it in a cool shed to dry out slowly and hope it doesnt crack. what would you reccomend?

  6. couple from my college days in 2006/2007
  7. made a change not ringing up we left the main stems in big sections that big one was left in a 14meter length, the small one was cut 14meter section cut in half. wouldnt like to say how much that weighs but quite a few tons i bet
  8. was judgement i said it would fit down there, gareth confirmed it would with the trusty stick test it was felled because they are building a extention from the house and these trees are going to be used to make the timber for the extention and 3 table tops in the making from the bottom slices they were planted by a local estate for timber but then land got sold and they were never felled so least they are being used for what they were planted for

  10. i had my 3120xp with 36" bar in the wings but i ended up useing my 372xp with 26" bar only a couple inches short of not having to go in both sides so all good
  11. well every arb nos how to fell a tree cant be that impressive lol after i rigged out 2 back stems it was always going to go that way everyone reads my name like that so dont worry about it
  12. felled this oak today for smith77 off arbtalk. i rigged out 2/3 of the crown by taking off 2 main stems off the back side. then felled it my eye still is yet to fail me on judging if they will fit or not. back to do the bigger one beside it tomorow.
  13. more and more people are wanting the wood left in firewood lengths. so i finally desided to get a bargain log horse off ebay holds the chainsaw aswell, which really made me get it. arrived today so i put her to work got to say it works a treat really easy work of most stuff we threw at it only down side with it is the guard for the bar is abit cr*p and if you take it off you can cut bigger stuff. apart from that best 59quid delivered to the door step ive spent for a long while

  16. they just like it i think, old lady who owns it and she was very careful with how much she wanted off it she really wanted just the tips off.
  17. easily be able to see it all throughout the year its yards from 1 of my regular companys yards that i do climbing for was a right state with cavitys and steel wires choked off branches etc lots of habitat in there though im sure
  18. walnut reduction from today had to be careful of 4 live power wires that went straight through the middle of the tree and 1 ABC wire on the side other than that a few buildings to miss
  19. £550 about that for a buisiness card sized advert got 300quid knocked off to get it at that price though
  20. mark kind words there im no better than any other climbers on here, frank was a great day sun was shineing, got served up bacon and fried egg in toast sarnies sound is a shame got to much noise in background from chainsaws the crane and chipper but you can kinda gather what is said. my crane job ive booked in for 26th april coming up very fast now cant wait mistahbenn i learned more than i could list from when to use step cuts when to cut straight through from under or above, what to look for to add balanceing slings, the main things is buy walkie talkies so important already ordered some of them and some flat webbing slings
