  1. yesterdays job finished early afternoon all the climbing done, went back today for a couple hours to fell the stem and clean up take most of the timber away etc. the stem was 30ft that we felled so the whole tree was 70-80ft had a heavy lean towards the neighbouring properties had already lost 1 of the leader stems in a storm year or 2 back. first proper day out with the new grcs takes abit of getting used to. used it for all sorts the rigging then used it on the felling vid will be on here tomorow, we used the grcs to tension a side pull line to stop it going off course once it snapped off from the hand winch pulling it over. then we used it to lift over big logs to cut them up. best tool ive ever bought really cant praise it up enough so handy and well thought out [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YMN6pTVg9rc]poplar rigging - YouTube[/ame]

  6. Hi rupe i no you have a grcs ive just treated my self to one finally just wondering about the winch mount and the alloy mount is there any reason you cant rig with the winch mount as in negative rigging shockloading if you like? Also most the time i run a 13mm rigging line will it still be alright for winching that small diameter rope?

    Many thanks
