  1. what is this? the customer didn't know and we thought it was really cool.
  2. This ash was about or maybe over 1.2m dbh. Reduced back to previous. The left hand side was all over a powerline, which was handy... Gotta shout out to shaun (button1803 on here) my trusty groundy - i know he didn't have fun with the tangly crap on the floor and we were just about fed up of being at this place (5 day job - the whole garden, not just this tree lol).
  3. that's very reasonable! compared to the £800+ anyway

the 200t is around £470 inc vat here, so compared to that it seems a fairly good deal. you won't have a warranty, though.
  5. always gonna get stung under 25 mate. you say 1 years no claims, but then 5 years without a claim, how come?
  6. wow! transit county on steroids!
  7. good job! luck or judgement on pic 4?
  8. must be your server....
  9. sorry, but he didn't know his job and did you see the bit at the end? when he realised he was out of his depth and tried to gain control by the only means most of them can think of?
  10. arrrghhh! sorry guys. this seems like the wrong place for lefties. maybe we should all put our heads down, shut up, don't voice opinions, go to work, pay our tax, then die. i'm gonna duck out of this thread now.
  11. ok so everyone is insulting the cameraman, what are your views on the policeman, based on this video?
  12. i agree running a red light, even on a push bike is bad - it could result in a car swerving round you and causing an accident....but lighten up, i thought it was funny. i dislike 80% of the police i have come across - they have been arrogant control freaks, who can't handle anyone talking back at them in an intelligent way and end up lashing out (like on the video), as they think that's the only way they can get back in control. this cunstable was quite stupid in particular.
  13. you wish death/extreme pain on someone who doesn't go by the 'rules'. hmm
  14. i found its good for moving about a crown (medium to big trees) but a bit of a mission to ascend on for any big distances (when pulling through slack on the vt there is no friction to help hold you up)
  15. i think there was a big thread on a similar theme to this, try searching for it.

we use the 7/32 for our 3/8 saws. i find using the smaller one gives too much of a hook when free handing. and we use reels of stihl chain if that makes a difference
  17. he must be getting alot of stick back at the nick! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zKQPGP5IiSc]YouTube - Everything is ok - BANNED - Police, Camera, Action[/ame]
  18. well i for one hate the horrible drowsy feeling when you get a lung full of 2stroke! (happens quite a bit)- in my opinion you can't put a price on health. (and i'm not one of these paranoid ocd clean freaks) plus after using aspen a few times, the sweet smell is worth the £1.20 on it's own!
  19. less talky, more pictures! this is a u90, right? haven't seen one like it before, looks like a cool baby mog!
  20. same sort of price?
  21. How much is aspen per litre when bought in a 200l drum? Even if it's twice that of normal unleaded, going by the average fuel use of a two man team (2-4litres a day?), it would only be a fiver extra on the quote, or you could absorb the cost and make savings elsewhere. Totally worth it imo. (boss wouldn't agree though!)
  22. if that's a fake then i'll buy 10! bound to cost £150 at the most
  23. haha
  24. i'd go for the top one, but you may have a 64bit operating system, in which case the second from bottom (says x64 at the end) this - http://www.free-codecs.com/download_soft.php?d=5550&s=50 64 bit - http://www.free-codecs.com/download_soft.php?d=5618&s=50
  25. i haven't got a drift, but i presume that you don't have the right codec. this free download should sort it out http://www.free-codecs.com/ffdshow_download.htm
