My friends and I were organising our 4th annual (except 2010's break) underground music festival 'The Philosopher's Fair' ( Philosophers Fair | Facebook ) until this wednesday just gone, when we had a meeting with the police and environmental health. They have pretty much made it impossible for us to put it on this year with mountains of paperwork and £20k+ policing and security costs. They said they were scared it would lead to an illegal rave. hmm. Might go to Boomtown and have a chance to see snoop dogg at Lovebox which would be funny oh yeh, strawberry fair in cambridge as always!

i will always be a country lad after living in a backward village for 20 years! i'm enjoying being young & living in the centre of a big town at the moment (it's great stumbling home after a night out, rather than £20+ for a taxi! - oh and the pub 20 yards from my doorstep has a cider festival at the moment, bye bye )

peter pracownik does great green man/ mythical/ celtic/ faerie/ tolkien-esque designs (paintings, not tattoo's, although you could just copy them) The Enchanted World of Peter Pracownik and Another Green World i have this design on a hoody which i wouldn't mind getting as a tattoo...

i don't like the name. not being mean, just an opinion. it is pretty much 'Tree Tree Surgeons' translated. perhaps a word containing 'arbor', without 'tree' just after it. for instance our company is Danarbor LTD.

first port of call is to get sheets of 25mm celotex insulation. also, a bit of leccy wiring, then ply lining ontop. i'll be going round scrappy's looking for old caravans to get a few bit n bobs. a wood burner made from an old gas bottle will go in the corner to keep it toasty in winter. lots to keep me busy!

i can finally put up a picture of the inside after much scrubbing and ripping out the gun bus seats!! it's now a blank canvas!

how far are you willing to travel? when i finished college, i travelled 1.5 hrs each way to get work (about 50 miles on crap roads) have you thought of relocating, for say 6 months or a year, just to get experience in?

2 phone lines, 2 domestic powerlines and the main powerline through the village below this lime. pollarded to 20ft ish. finished by lunch, we got a tenner each tip and a massive slice of home made cake! woohoo!

got some hammerite on the bumpers, wheels and wing mirrors - looks good as new! going to get a woodburner made for it soon and put insulation, ply line it and electrics. oh, and i forgot to mention, it has a plaque in it saying " This ambulance was used in London's Burning, The Bill and Eastenders" - what a star!
