  1. DONT DO IT! I got this one after seeing it winning on the gadget show. It was still hot 24hrs after being plonked in the snow in siberia or somewhere equally brrrr! It has 2 cups and a little teabag compartment at the bottom. Served me very well over the last 2+ years. Aladdin Challenger 1.8L Camping Flask | GO Outdoors edit: and it's £6.50 cheaper than the stanley
  2. Have you phoned every tree company within a reasonable distance? Yell.com + google maps search 'tree surgery'
  3. Hi spud, sent you a pm earlier. (i think)
  4. What, which one is the ugliest?
  5. Dvla test is £115, box trailer hire was £40 for the morning of the test . Training with local instructor for 6 hours ish was around £150 (using our own vehicle / trailer ) Can't see how it would cost £250 more than that!!
  6. You say towing restrictions - why not just get your b+e licence? Costs around £300 all in. So much more choice for chippers and trailers.
  7. Petzl Vertex seems to be the most common lid. It's comfy and not too expensive. The stein one is ok but the head band makes for a hot summer!
  8. Ok so after months of thinking 'nah, not for me', i've decided to treat myself to one. Already have a HC and pantin, so ready to go!
  9. Settle down for the evening and spend a few hours reading these.... 10. No. Unless off road. On a normal car licence you can't under any circumstance go over 3.5t
  11. So not even upto 750kg trailer?
  12. Surely 8250kg is c1 without +e? As is 7.5t +750kg trailer...?
  13. Your boss is wrong and it could land you in trouble if you get pulled over in the 5.5t truck. B+e means you can drive upto 3.5t and tow upto 3.5t (or whatever the truck is rated to tow) this 'plant ' rule he speaks of is BS... You need the c1+e for the bigger truck.
  14. I will do but not on the 15th. I start in Jan so will meet up with you soon after
  15. Cheers I'll have to look out for these 'wazz' and take a wide berth: D

  19. Cheers guys. Yes i'll let you know if i can come get them Dan, if not if you are ever on the Diss to Bury road you could drop them off at my GF's parents house.
  20. Sorry to hear and hope you get your money back. Did you not smell a rat? So many threads on here about dodgy ebay equipment. Never ever buy ANYTHING of value that doesn't have the option of viewing or cash on pickup. Especially with 0 feedback.
  21. bump Starting new Job in January, still need work in December. Please don't hesitate to call/ message me. Cheers
  22. Secured a good Job Thanks for good wishes and all who offered work.
  23. Good to hear, i'll be ordering one very soon. If the husky top handle is as good as people say, then I won't buy another stihl again! (that's coming from a die hard stihl fan, but that was when it was 200t/ms260, not the modern pish)
  24. I prefer my spelling of 'ploughed' Can't even edit it to hide my shame haha
  25. You say that but the same discretion has to be made wherever you buy stuff. You can buy crap from reputable dealers and have a major headache. Ebay is fine, just don't bid if you havent given it a thorough check out.
