  1. This is the site about 2 miles from my house. I met the guys who live/work there the other week - top blokes and very talented. They had a stall at Weird and Wonderful Wood. Some great work on the website - much better in person though! Welcome to the Treesculpture Website One of my favourites is this 'tree table'. It's made from one solid piece of wood. Amazing.

  8. yes i am going to call all the companies in the yellow pages.... and yes i am at otley! half way through a ten week course - the assessor said that i 'walked' the 30+31 yesterday - to say i was chuffed is an understatement im having fun - the tutors are all cool, we have a laugh....
  9. Made a new thread as since i last posted i passed my 30+31! (and you can't edit original posts) at college full time so weekend work is what i'm after at the moment. saying that, from this weekend til next (25th-31st) i'm on half term break so if anyone has any work i could do i'd appreciate it. i have all PPE & car. cheers
  10. only went from 2-5pm today, i missed all the climbing fun i guess. some great woodwork on display - an inspiration to any aspiring carver. v. jealous of the people with the horse box conversion - very cosy!

  12. just an update - will be doing my cs30&31 next week so (if i pass) will be able to work over half term as qualified groundy. if anyone can help out from 22nd-29th may it would be much appreciated - so skint right now cheers

    oh well, i'll still buy another pair at £102. very comfy! i walked about 6 miles in them the other day with thin socks and my feet didn't ache at all!

    good for budget buys - but they have to contend with elten fellsmen which are THE best boots for under 100 quid.

  19. if you have a new style number plate, dvla website is quoting £275 for TR53 EEE (or whatever year yours is)

  23. ^ guess he just went by the usual 5-6% savings accounts. i would probably give almost all of it away. i like having money - but only enough to get by, save some and occasionally by some nice things. saying that, i couldn't resist buying an audi rs4
  24. just curious as to what is the most extreme security you can use to protect your equipment in the uk. i've seen south africa's flame throwers and 10,000 volt fences but i doubt they are legal here. it breaks my heart reading through the stolen equipment section.
  25. when i get to the stage of needing to protect expensive equipment, i'll get a couple of these....
