  4. Talked to a vosa man yesterday, stopped to dip landrover tank again! he said there is a right at the moment to enter sites to check tanks, if you are caught with the wrong fuel the machine will be impounded, quite how they will deal with a 20 tonne digger I don’t know,
  5. Did a lot of cutting few years back on pier timber and sleepers found veg oils not as good as mineral oils for preventing bar wear, came to conclusion the heat in the bar was the problem, but no scientific fact to back up conclusion
  6. So you have checked bar ,chains ,rims ,pump what about the chain oil you use?
  7. Many sites don’t allow the use of chainsaws, battery, mains or petrol to cut angles on large timber construction I have tried circular saws jig saws and sabre saws none give the accuracy or depth of cut required std hand saws are set to cut dry wood not green wet timber hence I’m looking at one of these, I have a old Victorian version but it has had its time
  8. Has anyone got one of the cross cut saws
  9. You can buy new try Thomas flinn website
  10. There are always ways around the problem, however it’s up to you to prove you are right and there are whole government departments trying to prove you wrong, red diesel finishes in April next yr it’s a whole can of worms as to what will be allowed to run on red, haulage is a very grey area
  11. Seeing the words Colorado and fall suggests the writer is in the USA, the plants have most likely not made it over winter due to the pots freezing and the top then desiccating due to lack of water. These plants are in an advanced state of terminal necrosis, I would suggest you try again but don’t let them freeze maybe also some wind protection.
  12. Remember there will be no red diesel in 18 months if it won’t stack up running white and o licence it’s probably not going to work. you can’t carry a load if it’s reg as a tractor.
  13. More like a pedal car and little red barrow, that WILL keep him busy!!
  14. He has a battery chainsaw and a ladder! I think maybe a six gun and a quarter horse although this is unconfirmed
  15. The rules are more lax if your always in the sticks, if you are running into town then you need to conform more
  16. Why not get the class2 and keep as is might be cheaper in long run, tax as private hgv but depends on where you are located
  17. Yep all the gear no idea !!!!!
  18. Some of the best ideas are the simple ones
  19. Interesting scrap there
  20. Try eco green but your not going to tow a 200 hp shredder with a transit
  21. I believe your sexual preferences should be expressed on a different forum
  22. At what point does a old tractor become a pile of scrap ?
  23. I’ve found Hammerite to be quite brittle on areas that flex and chip
  24. Looking at pictures might be a bit of a shock when weight/ volumes are totalled
