  6. I do it and I love it, different experiences, people and tree work, but treework doesn't change much from country to country, trees are trees. If you can, get out there, its a big big world, and the way the UK is going, I'd look at trying to do it permanently.

  9. Some pics, first a nice Cork Oak, next up, guess the age of this beast lime tree, I measured the base, which came to 32 feet, just under 10 metres...! (No work done on these trees.)

  16. If I was to go sub contracting to a large firm, would I as a sub contractor go on their PL Insurance? Sorry if this is a stupid question
  17. I was climbing and dismantling ash trees in -20c two weeks ago, and yes the wood definitely acts differently. Much harder, and more brittle, still hinges ok though. But I would still trust the anchor point I chose in either cold or warm temps.
