  2. Yes, i can see them Its just heavy bud proliferation, a symptom of the type of tree unfortunately. Just keep your eyes open for crown die back over the coming years, for now the tree can cope (IMO)
  3. I know, but in general the panic created over a few snowflakes is ludicrous... The other countries with regular and heavy snow falls cope fine, and so should we...!
  4. Its snow, its not dangerous, it doesn't stop kids from going to school, it doesn't stop you from going to work, its no big furore.... oh, wait... We live in the UK...!!
  5. Only a wee bit different, as i left an old birds nest in that conny! That counts doesn't it!

  10. Seen em on FB before, nice job:thumbup:
  11. Don't you just love it!
  12. Wouldn't worry about it then unless as stated the canker girdle the entire stem. The tree, Aesculus x carnia, is susceptible to heavy bud proliferation (which is what this is). It can look very unsightly but does no real harm unless the above mentioned girdling happens. The tree can survive with this for a good while until the cambium flow is disrupted. So, off one little photo, i would say "don't worry about it", but that is off one little photo so don't hold me to anything:001_tt2: And Rob, Ash...?
  13. I have no probs at all uploading pics on tapatalk, albeit on android:biggrin:
