  1. Oh god, yeah! Now you're in your twenties it's all downhill. I'm surprised you can even manage getting online now your sooooo old
  2. LoL . I just had to Google P tigrinus, so not surprisingly, I didn't knowingly come across any. What I need is a guide... Hint hint
  3. I always fancied myself as a bit of a Penelope Pitstop . Not that I'm saying that's how you look on yours... . I think this hole is big enough for me to stop digging it now...
  4. That's what credit cards were invented for . They're not real money, afterall Did you go to last years? I meant to, but I seem to remember the weather was really grotty and not condusive to wandering around a field.
  5. You're going to love getting past that 33bhp, but it's a shame it'll be at such a grotty time of year. Are you going to get the SV deresticted or treat yourself to a new toy? Or both? My beastie doesn't get to see much action other than comuting these days, as I have become a right boring old fart .
  6. Bentley Wildfowl & Motor Museum Thanks for the reminder . I'd forgotton this was coming up.
  7. Good choice, sir. But you're going to have to be one hellofa good boy to get one of them in your stocking this Christmas. Are you out and about taking more vids for our entertainment this weekend?
  8. That's brilliant . I wonder how much compensation he's now claiming for???
  9. This ol' banger I picked up a few years back:
  10. Nah, I stayed more local and went to Bayhurst Woods, part of Ruislip Woods on the Hillingdon Trail. It's predominently oak and beech with some regrown hornbeam coppice stools. There's nothing spectacular there, but it was enjoyable all the same. I will definately get up to Pond Wood though, as you have been a good advertiser for it.
  11. Girly wuss with the UK's widest chicken strips, me!
  12. What do you expect from an SV rider? Nice little vid (with the sound on mute LoL). I've just been out for a bit of a bimble myself; trying to make the most of this late summer weather we're having. But I didn't get anywhere near getting my 'sliders down - I never have done and I probably never will .
  13. I have nothing technical to add, but I did take a couple of purdy pictures of the ol' Beefstake today:
  14. Where's the woodland, David? I need to get out of slob mode and it looks like a good place to go and bimble and root around in the undergrowth for a few hours.
  15. TBH, I come from a background of surveying countless thousands of small to medium street trees and the need for anything other than a thorough VTA doesn't just doesn't really occur that often. Although I have used various DD devices over the years, I don't use them enough to be able to argue their pros and cons. I will have to leave that to those more experienced than I .

  19. Nowt quiet about my cynicism . I think I have already got the geek tendencies, they just need a bit more nurturing to become to become full blown.
