  1. That looks good now, but it will look stunning when it's finished . One thing I noticed from the tat expo' is that the Japanese style, especially the demon masks, seems to be vey much en vogue right now. I hope it doesn't go the same way as Celtic or Tribal tattoos in that it becomes really fashionable and everyone ends up with the same old poor quality flash work.
  2. £7.50??? Cue sharp intake of breath. I'd better start saving, but I'm sure it will be well worth the outlay As he's suggested a morning visit, are you thinking about going up the night beforehand and staying over somewhere?
  3. Do you have a large breeding population of Mandarins at the ' Heath?
  4. I'm sorry, but I've got mental pictures of a Tom and Jerry style cartoon chase with a huge black cloud following you Glad it was only a few stings after all that; it could've been nasty.
  5. I'm glad I've sold that studio to you - I can blag a lift from you when you go there We can get His 'n' Hers Oriental tattoos
  6. You might like this then. He's an aquaintance of mine and the tat's lovely. Japanese Style Tattoos By Mandie Barber, True Love Tattoos, Kidderminster : True Love Tattoos (No smutty bum crack comments from me!)
  7. That would make a really good tat'. You'd have to find someone good at fine shading, but it would be well worth it
  8. Yes, that's right. "The green man", spirit of nature. Also the name of a good folk and music festy
  9. Something like this? No young bovines involved.
  10. I've got to find £400 odd for a new crash helmet . Apparently, potentially life saving PPE is more of a priority than pretty new tats. I'm not entirely convinced of that, myself
  11. That's an excellent shot of the two brackets on the same tree. Having them so close together like that makes it easy to see the very obvious differences between them... ... But I still wouldn't be able to say which is which!
  12. I will definately be getting more done at some point. I know what I want; it's just a matter of finding a few hundred disposable quid that wouldn't be better spent on more practical things
  13. Hahaha! So THAT'S why I had such a 'mare of a journey getting to Capel on the Friday
  14. That's really good work on the dragon . I like oriental style tattoos, but chinese dragons have been so over done. Yours, though, is a lot more original than what you tend to see. Good idea for the sleeve. I think your avatar will translate very well and will look great with some in fill. We will, of course, want to see the pics when it's done
  15. It got dodgy quite a few posts back, possibly when one particular AT member posted pics of her tattoo...
  16. I'll have to get a bigger one next time so you can't possibly get distracted by bums
  17. Biological control . I will now lapse back into my usual state of mental narcolepsy.
  18. Do you know Paul Horton who used to be based in the Abbey grounds? He might be after someone. I haven't spoken to him for a couple of weeks so I'm not entirely sure of his work load and staff needs at the moment. Do you me to PM you his number so you can give him a try?
  19. Starting with dragonflies....?
  20. I'll be honest and say the style is not to my taste, but they're very well done
  21. That's the downside of having a tat' in that location: I can't really show it clearly without looking like a stripper
  22. Are those Mayan based designs?
  23. John Kruk :laugh1:
  24. Lala maybe, but not LA Right now I'm doing a bit of bar wenching to give me a bit of pocket money and the occasional tree inspection / 5837 survey to remind me what those big woody things with leaves are. I'm waiting to hear in the next few days whether I will be doing some of the buffer zone OPM surveying for the FC. Failing that, I'll be doing some voluntary OPM surveying for one of my old LA employers as I'm an idiot and enjoy it
  25. No offence taken . Well, not by me, anyway It's clear that you're just messing and having a bit of banter with us and I'm not going to get all huffy and feminist on you
