  1. Not sure about the trees, but the Lily of the valley flowers (if you see any that is) have been supplied by a farmer near to my place.
  2. Having a Royal Family is what distinguishes us from countries such as America, in my view it is a reflection of our history, heritage and culture. Our Royals' history and extended Royal Family are what has made this country great in the past, and what it is today. And before anyone points out how it's somewhat going to the dogs recently, I believe that the attitude shown to the Royals in some of these posts, which is reflected in wider society, goes hand in hand with the general loss or respect for ourselves and others that todays society unfortunately displays.

No that was swept away by the tories' nazism too:thumbdown: Treworgey Tree Fayre 1989
  5. :laugh1: Unless you want something really specific, then just get whatever you like thats in your price range...they are all much of a muchness, alll have their faults and let downs, and all have their positives.......and that is why all the threads appear to turn into slanging matches. I have a fairly full-on defender, but if i was in your position i would probably get a ranger or l200.
  6. Wow what an amazing tree!!!!!!!
  7. WTF????? I imagine you were built like a tree even back then Stu!!!!
  8. I built this for about £400.....
  9. Yes they among the best. Very well built in general, very reliable and parts easy to source through Global Recycling, probably others too.

    50/1 vs 25/1

If you use good quality 2 stroke then 50-1.....and TBH you should ONLY use good quality 2 stroke. I, and probably most Arbtalkers, use the likes of Stihl or Husky branded stuff or equivalently priced stuff. If you run it at 25-1 you wont really do any damage as such, and if you are using cheapo 2 stroke then you would be advised to. IMO any tree surgeon worth his salt wouldnt dream of mixing the oil and fuel in the saw, but would mix it 5 litres at a time in a proper can:sneaky2:
  11. erm....yes....realised that after I did the poll:blushing:
  12. John deere 6930s, 130- 150hp has a drawbar weight of 3.5 tonnes. That is probably fairly standard for that size of machine. Hope it helps.
  13. Now why on earth would one want to do that to oneself??????
  14. As it says....just interested to know?
  15. I am sure it IS very hard to recover them, but I pay my taxes for a police service which I dont get IMO. It is very easy to reach target figures from motoring offences etc, but this doesnt help those who have had their kit stolen. The introduction of, and gospel reliance by the media upon, crime numbers and targets is what is ensnaring already overstretched budgets for the police force. Recent cuts forced by the bankers' greed/ payout have entrenched this problem in this country too.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zP2tyZu0lqs]YouTube - PUBLIC ENEMY "Don't Believe The Hype"[/ame] Get a bike!! That way you will be breathing FRESH air when you excercise and get fit and see some lovely countryside......then come home and play computer games that have conned a milion chip eating beer swilling lazies that they dont have to leave their centrally heated boxes as they will get fit vegging out infront of a TV screen:biggrin:
  18. Maybe where you live.....down here I saw a fight in truro, about 200 yds from the multi storey police station (Truro is the county town/ city for cornwall) and I knocked on the door....to no avail. There was a notice saying closed after 6pm. So i eventually rang a central switchboard in exeter (the non emergency number) which is about 95 miles away. They said thanks alot, to which i replied not to worry now as the (very violent) attack had now ended after about 10 minutes. But they insisted and after about 20 minutes a cop was seen to leave the building and have a stroll around. I live in sight of a 'transit' site for irish travellers. This is considered a no-go zone by the police, yet it is common knowledge that most of the local crime, if not all of it, is perpeuated by some, if not all (but i doubt it) of the residents of that site. When i moved here the people who live on either side of me (nearby neighbours i suppose you would say) even told me the names of the 2 boys that robbed them, and how to recognize them. Yet the police refuse to go onto that site....which incidentally has a cage in which they set dogs on each other....dogs that have been stolen, for example, off my neighbour. Is it any wonder that people have little or no trust in the police force in this country.
  19. Have a good day Oh Great Leader:thumbup:

ha- i never even knew there was one there. I drive past that shop periodically! I was down for a brief period when they were building the liskeard bypass. Stayed at the railway station with Tom and Emma, and the circus warp crew, who were repairing their sound sytem after the police had trashed it and given it back after castlemorton debacle.
