  2. What is the end use for the timber? Will the estate use it for anything other than the fire?
  3. The misuse of headlights must wind me up more than anything else on the road. Seeing people driving around in the rain with wipers on and no lights or just sidelights on. Tossers. Sidelights ought to be called parking lights as that is the only time they are useful. They make f-all difference to safety from the front. You are no more visible with sidelights than without lights on at all:mad1: I have even heard of people saying they were trying to save electric/ bulbs etc etc. Total and utter sh it. If you need your wipers, you need dipped headlights. End of. Rant and derailment over.
  4. All your pics are truly inspiring mdvaden. I must get out to your part of the globe one day. Thanks for posting.
  5. And will guarantee to wreck any unsuspecting tree surgeons kit in the future, and concrete soaks up water and leaches lime and other cementitious products. Contrary to popular opinion concrete is not water proof unless chemicals that arent really available to general public are added. This is why we use plastic membranes to stop rising damp under floors and in blockwork The kind of additives that you can buy in the builders merchants for adding to render mixes etc work by filling the air gaps in between the particles with a silicone based product. It doesnt work really, and that is why rendered buildings get painted, aside from the visual aspect, and render is renowned for losing its weatherpfoofness in time (usually after 5 years the beginnngs of failure are present, its just that cavity walls dont allow the damp through to the interior of the building.)
  6. Nice one mate. I'll be in touch soonish.

  16. You shouldnt need id, but whatever you do, get a receipt or proof of change of keeper whoever you sell it to. I sold a car throuh an auction about 15 years ago. About 9 months later i got a letter saying i had used or parked on a street without tax. Sent the receipt to swansea, no problem. If i hadnt had that receipt, i would have been responsible.
