  1. I have been loading the landy to the gills for a while:blushing: as normal. and on the way home from a job on Friday, the wheel bearings colapsed in the passenger rear Hub. These 4 vids are a wobble rebuild of the hub. Sorry about the poor quality at times, its quite hard to hold a phone and do the work at the same time. Enjoy, criticize, laugh as you will guys:biggrin: It ay even help- you never know!! 3. pessimistic old goat???? But that is exactly the point of the forum. You ask a question, you get a plethora of (often conflicting) views drawn from a wealth of knowledge and experience, and that allows you to make up your own mind. That is what you WANT when asking a question on here. From this thread Ady is able to establish that the overwhelming view is that the Kombi system is a good bit of kit, with the minority of users dissatisfied. A job well done IMO.
  4. Thanks David. The place is amazing for trees. They have a most unusual collection from all rpound the world, the owner being an advisor to Kew amongst other places, and also a collector of plants/ seeds etc from the world over. I will try to get back soon and get some more pics. The drive to the house is a mature burry lime avenue.....beautiful.
  5. They want shooting. Next time put them through the chipper. If other people were too slow to stop them robbign your chipper, they wouldnt have had alot to say about you chipping some gypos!!
  6. I finally managed to get into the pics in my phone..... They are all from Tregrehan Manor in cornwall, hone of Tom Hudson who some of the more enlightened may / ought to know. Some parkland trees, me at the top of a spruce, and the view from the top....
  7. Heres a couple from my phone.....its only taken me 2 months of ownership to finally get to grips with how to get pics off it:blushing: They are from The Blue Bar at Porthtowan.....my local:thumbup:
  8. I have used a posch vertical one, and the riko equivalent, and couldnt find that much difference, and TBH given the unbelievable rudeness of the guy on the posch stand at ConFors last year, I would NEVER give them my money......That said, i am NO expert in this field, and have just invested in a new axe...!!!!
  9. Lovely Bart. I especially love the use of the brown on the leaves. A very eye catching piece. Nicely done. I think i may have missed your leaves on syamore. Do you have a link to it pls.

Firefox is the best. Internet explorer is just another microsoft abortion of instability. Check out the add-ons, there are so many you can tweak it how you like- even get it looking like Internet Explorer! Sorry you are having problems though Chris.

  16. There is a tiny spring by the carb which holds the govenor in place. Check that is not stretched, snapped or missing.

  18. Beats me David.....a metal frame??? I found a bit of car floor mat nailed about 20' up a cherrry once:confused1:
  19. Hilarious!!!! Good effort. It may make the little toe-rag think twice now!
  20. Nice pics brownoak. Where you based and what sort of set up do you have?.....I take it you are milling?
  21. Not sure cracker. I tend to sell sawn wood not wood in the round. I am tight though, and cornish timber is generally of a poorer quality than from up country. I get my softwood from dartmoor area usually, or a few plantations down here, but decent hardwood comes from devon usually, or Lord Falmouths estate, but he is VERY expensive. Over £5/ foot roadside!!!! (nice logs mind)
