  1. Need to see it up close first tommer....
  2. You wait till you've tried the 560/562XP when they come out, the MS362 will be going in the skip......
  3. RRP is exactly what it says, RECOMMENDED retail price. Realistically the dealers can charge whatever price they want. If you look at nearly all our products and Stihls for that matter you will rarely pay the full RRP. Without checking the price lists the T540XP and the MS200T are as near as dammit the same RRP.
  4. Its being improved mate.... Fuel Pipe.pps
  5. The Husky combican has come down £6 in price at full RRP and is now £33.99 inc VAT.....
  6. Thanks for the info Brushcutter, I'd not spotted that one. Good info.
  7. No spares availability issues on the 346XP morten. Just hearsay if anything.
  8. Hi Brushcutter - starting from ground level all the way up really. Starting from a diploma upwards, who offers the MSc? Thanks for your help.
  9. Shuttleworth are always tellling me how inexpensive they are - might be worth another call and say that James from Husqvarna recommended them ;o)
  10. Anyone know of any good correspondance or online forestry courses? I appreciate its a practical industry but I have an enquiry from someone.
  11. No recall as such other than to say that all carbs between certain serial no's were issued a free replacement. Give technical a call and quote your serial no and they will tell you if you were due a replacement carb FOC or not.
  12. Stihl say 25:1 on anyone elses oil other than their own, this is due to not knowing the quality of other peoples oil. They may try to invalidate your warranty on this basis if pushed!
  13. Firsat port of call should be Countax who are the Echo distributors in the UK. Follow this link then click on Echo-Tools on the left hand side. Countax Garden Tractors - About Us Hope it helps.
  14. Absolutely right, I'll have a word.....

    sthil ms 261

    Based on no evidence whatsoever!
  16. 346XP already has low emissions anyway and is far more tried and tested than a MS261. MS260 is/was a good saw but you'd struggle to find a new one anywhere anyway! Whoever mentioned that Stihl spares are easier to get hold of than Husky is talking rubbish, its down to the individual dealer iin reality. If you want best power to weight, go for a 346XP you won't be disappointed.

Sounds like what the 346XP has been for a long long time!

A HEAVIER saw? Is that progression?!
  19. Where's your dealer anitpesto?
  20. Have you considered the 226HD75s (double sided) or the 226HS75s (single sided) Husqvarna hedgetrimmers? They are out of the Komatsu-Zenoah stable and are the direct equivalents of the HS81 and HS 86 but retail at around £50 less. Cracking Japanese engines and more than a match in my opinion..... Compare Husqvarna Hedge Trimmers for Landscapers
  21. 346xp.....
  22. +1 to that statement!
  23. Don't discount the 346XP at all even compared to the MS261, we have been increasing sales with it the last 2 years so that must tell you something about its performance. But hey, I would say that wouldn't I?!
  24. Missed this one, my apologies. I haven't checked the detail of what you say, but if you have problems in the future just drop me a line. Cheers, James.
