  1. You do well to get them from the US Petemate - are you sure they are legal to use over ie CE registered?
  2. 576 every time........
  3. We have sold quite a few 576's since they (eventually) became available - high torque as you say, vibration levels 2.9/3.6 as well. Its a good machine!
  4. Splitting hairs in terms of vibration levels that is! At the pro-end they are all much of a muchness vibe wise - and it comes down to personal preference after that.
  5. 346XPG and you won't be disapppointed. Upgraded power, slimline design, high revving (hence quicker cutting) - and the most popular pro saw we now sell bar none. We can't produce them fast enough, just ask the dealers.......! Stihl vibs here - http://www.stihl.com/vib/english/documents/GB_MS.pdf Husky vibs for 346XP here - http://www.husqvarna.com/uk/forest/products/xp-saws/346-xp-/#specifications Have a look at the Husky website - each saw has the vib levels published in the spec section next to it.
  6. Cheers Steve, and do you have plenty of firewood as well? Sorry for being ignorant - but you've gotta ask aintcha?
  7. Oh yeah Tree Man Tom, thanks for the offer but I think Somerset with a trailer is a bit too far don't you?! I come from there and visit at any opportunity I can, but with a trailer? No ta!
  8. Just be careful though, as if there is a problem with the machine after using one of these the manufacturer won't entertain any warranty issues.............
  9. Not Stihl style at all - a more conservative company you couldn't find!!
  10. Good plan Steve I might just do that!! He must owe me by now?! Regarding the Essex Wildlife Trust, that sounds like a good plan too cheers arbogrunt.
  11. Anyone know where I can get hold of firewood in Essex please? Have trailer and can collect, happy to split it - just need access to it!
  12. 346XP every time - but then I work for the company so I would say that wouldn't I?
  13. Have you tried a Husqvarna T425? Small and lightweight, 10" bar and 25.4cc. Full retail - £379-99, but you won't pay that much at a dealer. (Its a Zenoah in Husky clothing).
  14. I prefer the 357XP as its physically a smaller saw with equally as much grunt.
