  11. I need to put together a Justification to my boss to put me through a LOLER Thorough Examination of Arboricultural Equipment course. I can then be the companies LOLER inspector, instead of getting in an outside bod in every 6 months. We have a minimum of 10 climbing kits to check plus assorted lowering kit. All i need to know is what an inspector would normally charge per kit, versus the cost of putting me through all the relevant training? Any help much appreciated.

  14. Jason/Dave, I'm based in the Okehampton area of Devon so think Dorchester/ Penzance may be just to far for me to travel on a daily basis, but thankyou very much for your replies! I'm managing to keep myself busy until something a bit more permanant comes up locally. Thankyou Mark for your kind words.

  16. I recently got made redundant as a climber/team leader. I am looking for another job in the south west. I've tried all the usual avenues (arbjobs, country side jobs etc) so i thought i'd this a go. I have got NPTC cs 30 31 38 39 40 UA1. I've done a lot of utility work and private stuff. Has anyone got any ideas? P.S My wife is expecting our second child in a few weeks, so the timing wasn't brilliant!
