  2. im fed up of buying rubbish. im after a reet sharp billhook, like the quality of gransfor bruks axes. does anybody know what type are good. ones around me are made of monkey metal which doesnt sharpen, but iv used one a long while ago which went through an inch twig with one swipe - but cant remember what type it was. (for hedglaying) any names would be great. thanks
  3. haha. that sounds a good idea. imagine losing count. i was thinking of that idea of tipping bulk bags in to get an idea. whats the average price of seasoned hardwood in a bulk bag now?

  5. does anybody know how many cubic metres of processed firewood you get in a level load in a ifor willy 12ft x 6.6?
  6. Sorry pete. You can read writing in so many different ways. I wouldnt know how you calculate a load out of that pile. I guess it would just be by the 20t it can carry.

  8. iv spoken to this guy tonight. wanting the lot to go for 15k, but he said he's had offers of 1k per wagon load. ill let somebody else do the maths only problem is its a long way from me up in cumbria
