  1. if u pull the lever back towards the tow hitch ,it will lift the engine ,thus taking the weight of the belts ,start it up let the engine wrm up then slowley lower the levr back ,u may need to re lift & lower a couple of times till it get the fly wheel running ,& if yor chipping sapy wood ,the sap will stick to the fly wheel & drum over nite & will need freing before it will run or u will keep stalling the engine
