But took down two syc's down today that had been devastated although as I pointed out to the property developer the larger of the two had been ring barked, hmm he Must have really wanted that new fence! Gggggrrrrrr!!! Would the crack be an after effect? Sun scald, is this caused by over exposure to solar radiation killing the cells by boiling, for lack of a better word same effect it has on human skin cells? And what cells are actually effected by it, vascular cambium or secondary phloem? Or both? Good day at the office today?

  14. Hey folks, I have no formal arb education as all my work has been well, work. I'm hoping to do some form of formal qual in a year or twos time after seeing a bit of the world, but for now I want a few books that will help my scientific knowledge and be aimed at the amenity side, hazards, diseases etc as opposed to say woodland management! Here's the catch!!!! I'm dyslexic or a dumbass (depending which side of the fence you sit) and readings hard work! I'm much more a visual learner an pics and diagrams with written explanations are my kinda book! Anyone recommend some essential reading material the please? 18. Google nptc cs30/31 training in your area no need for assessment if your not working in the industry! But at least a day with a good saw user will make you alot safer! If in doubt get professional help! Saws aren't to be toys Good to see someone outside the industry want training! Makes a change from the idiots you see on YouTube haha! Good luck and safe cutting! Hope you enjoy it!
  19. So what you guys think!! • 14mm sirrius ( thicker rope would possible aid the pinto/coccun to exit the eye) • nitrile cord( stuff you get in a role for making orings, or how about other polymers like latex etc) in eye to keep open for retrieval • something to keep the retrieval shackle down and out of the pulley sheave! Possibly stitching or ??? To give it ridigity And finally cucoon or pinto! Input appreciated! Enjoying the sun I hope folks!

Atree, you prob could use it but I'm going to make a purpose built rg with thicker rope, but that's a bit off duet funds and trying to find perfect bits or clip and something to hold eye open!
