Can't believe you left the infeed chute folding cover on: I have bits of cartilege floating around both elbows because of the one from my M300. Did you remove the three sided rectangle of tubular steel that acted as a guard against contact with the engine? It's a useful handle for pulling the machine backwards up slopes too steep to push or over soft ground

And yet only a few years ago there were three acres of commercially grown blueberries just outside Redhill on sloping south facing ground on chalk down. Presumably the topsoil received much attention. All gone now as the growers decided that 4x4 trails and a rural pursuits park was more profitable than what had been a very good and popular pick-your-own farm. The owner told me that the next nearest commercial blueberries were in Dorset

Only just noticed that. I'd be killing my JB every 30 seconds if I had one of those! I was chipping hawthorn hedge top yesterday morning and hornbeam brush in the afternoon; I don't think the engine would have warmed up fully with that bar it would have been pushed so much!

We have loads of birds but don't clean out the water bowls often; perhaps three or four times a year. One holds a good gallon (remember them?) though

Yes, that's my impression; either a natural contaminant such as a poisonous fungus (think ergot in cereals) or a poor choice of chemical treatment post harvest for insects or fungus

Any chance of the peanuts being 'wrong'? I seem to remember a few years ago there were toxic ones being sold for bird food

Must have hit something hard on the wee Lumag chipper. One of the blades cracked. Overtightened nuts? I've had it happen once on the Jo Beau; no sign of damage to the blade edge so put it down to overtightening. I stop just a bit short now on the tightening

Not desperate Doug, just trying to cover all bases. I was surprised at Lancs Police coming out with 'we think she fell in the river': it's the kind of thing they should say only with evidence to back it up. There will be serious egg on face if events prove them wrong. Even in this touchy feely age Police should be dealing with the facts and evidence; upsetting people with the truth is just part of the job. At least it should be

Likewise. I'd be wanting more than more than just point around the gaps; I'd demand the slate comes up, the carpet is cut and the slate properly bedded onto a solid base as it should be. As said that is rubbish. You'll be paying for a proper job please! -
I used to jump at the chance of grabbing mp if it became available to sell on to turners but it's gone out of fashion Yes, the knots are hard; the timber's like a big lump of cotton wool with neatly arranged iron spikes in it!
