  4. yep old howard. if your going to hire one, (for a few extra quid) it might be best to get the self driven one... save your arms as the little light ones bounce all over the shop..

  6. the small timberwolf gravity fed chippers are great. try doing the job when its dry,as mine didnt like wet connys. other woods it will munch them all day every day. make sure the blade is nice and sharp. other wise the brash will just bounce around in the hopper.. other than that i cant fault them.. never used a shredder maybe someone else can enlighten you on them...

  13. heres my trusty old school muddyfox pathfinder. 20 years old and in unmarked condition.
  14. check to make sure the little screw and throttle cable holder hasnt come loose or slipped? (this is located at the end of the throttle cable under the fuel tank) try bending the thottle govenor arm forward or back... its def and carb problem... when the engines running try moving the little black throttle body on top of the carb:confused1:
  15. discounts are really ment for multi buys or jobs... not for an emergancy job..... the only discount i do is for the above mentioned... i wonder how many folk have asked there council in a reduced rate in there council tax, for the council selling your rubbish out of your recycled bin?????? (none) joy best of luck, youve prob saved there house/kids and other cars from being flattrened... now this is why i dont do domestic costumers any more... comercial contracts is all i do.... written and signed so you know where to stand... no come backs, waiting on cheques etc.. joy do a nice clean job and they cant beat you down any more..

  17. imo, it doesnt matter whats on the side of your truck or vans... a jobs a job and that price has to be paid. if they dont have the money in the house to pay you (take a cheque) and if all fails after that ....claims court... what are they after? discount for the wood thats been took away? stand your ground... take a cheque and run.. best of luck:thumbup1:
  18. could be a bit of dirt or rust in the bottom of the carb bowl causing a weak mixture? or the cooling fins have drawn abit of rubbish in and jammed the throttle control spring open?
